Like amount of lines or w/e. Also state which version you were playing, as more recent ones have made it a bit easier to get better scores (being able to turn pieces before they lock, etc)
I was playing Tetris DS last night and got 612 lines. I was like %nnnnnnnnwhat. It was hot.

I only play the NES one. I am able to get around 250,000 or I was in my prime which is around like level 15 depending how many Tetrises and whatnot. That's when the castle blasts off instead of giving you a rocket ship.
Also, I am able to clear Type B at level 9 height B, but that is kind of ridiculously hard and depends a lot on your starting position/pieces.

Got 999 max lines on DS version, but as yo said that is easier than real version.

I don't remember my highest score but I can beat RoXer's ass. Though he got me on 40-Lines by 3 seconds (Tetris Splash/XBLA).

I'll sell you my copy as pretty sure it is OOP now. Make me a legit offer and I'll either :y: or :n: Note, only reason i'm selling is cause I have an R4 so can just download it. And I'm assuming you don't have one thus allowing me to reep the benefits.

Tetris DS made it too easy. I have gone past 999 a couple of time in that game. However, I remember feeling pretty awesome when I reached 142 lines on the original Gameboy version.

I am still currently playing the game I started when I was 7 when I first got my Game Boy. Not bad.

Tetris is not a game.
I think it was Tetris Worlds that allowed you to "stockpile" a piece and swap it out when you need it. The is so wrong, is that the only game that permits those shenanigans?

Tetris DS allowed you to keep one to the side which just made it super easy.

Yeah Tetris DS lets you do that, as well as rotate pieces before the lock in, thus allowing you to really place a piece anywhere, regardless of falling speed. Also, you can see like the next 6 incoming pieces lol.
That being said, I love the convenience of portable Tetris, so I play it a lot. Just beat my previous high, got like 834 lines last night. I must break 999
