So I just got a MacBook as a graduation gift, and I was born and raised with a PC. But had it for few days now and enjoying it, but wondering if there are any tips or suggestions. Any programs/applications I should download that will make my experience with a mac better. I got Firefox, and really haven't found an AIM program that is all that great. Any suggestions would appreciate it.

You can run Windows on your mac with bootcamp.

Also, Trillian works on macs.

Adium is probably your best bet for an all in one IM on Macs. http://www.adiumx.com/

Haven't had much experience with them so I don't know many other apps but you could probably get some good suggestions if you Google search something like "best mac applications".

Yeah I'm using Adium now, have some flaws but overall it sounds like best one out there.

Also as soon as I posted here realized could have just googled it and did so. All recommended pretty much stuff I already got recommended from one of my friends. Will mess around with it more in upcoming week as only really used it for mozilla/aim right now.
