Thought de la hoya was gonna get a rematch with him? Seems that 'warm up' match was pointless now.
Only the third time this has happened. He'll be back with a bigger pay day with DLH and Hatton. Needs the money (he spends like $100,000 a day on shit) and DLH needs the rematch.

Cheap ploy. Like Rob said, he will be back and making a bigger bank too.
If he fights again great, if not, meh, I'm not gonna forget some of the beatings he doled out in a hurry anyway
He might be back but it won't be soon. I can absolutely promise you this. At the risk of upsetting a few people, you'll be hearing a lot more on Thursday. Look about and you'll figure out why.

Floyd is going to get his ass whooped if you are implying what I think you are implying.

Wasn't he accused of juicing recently? I seem to remember hearing something about his name coming up involving roids, anyways, and I think it was mentioned that he was on them before he fought DLH.
If so I find it funny that he suddenly 'retires' and cancels his rematch with Oscar. Sounds like he is scared to fight the man without his added boost. And for the record I think Mayweather is a great fighter but I have always thought he was juicing. Just look at him.

I agree it seems as though he's scared.

I can't get over the fact that Floyd looks like he is 10 years old.
