Specifically ECW. I mean I haven't seen the WCCW one but I'm more about a documentary or something about Mcmahon, the hardy's etc.

Depends on who you like the most. All the documentary ones are pretty good

are they usually honest or really slanted?

There's a lot of ass kissing on the McMahon DVD. Even with the ass kissing it was still quite honest, and most of the others are usually honest.

BTW Jim Ross pisses me off big time on these documentaries because he blatantly kisses McMahon's ass.

Jake the Snake Roberts DVD is bloody disturbing when he talks about his family life. I think he was too honest on his dvd
I've bought alot so i'll list some opinions and maybe it will help some of you out
I agree with what was said about Vince and Jake's
Superstar Graham is good
Eddie's is very good
Benoit's is good
Bret's bored me
Warriors is funny because they make fun of him bad
The Hardys is one of the best
Rhodes is good for old school stuff
Piper's is straight to the point and he holds nothing back
Cena's is good if you like him

I always feel with Michaels and Cena's DVD's is that they're trying to force too much how good they are and, with Cena's in particular, comes across at times like a commercial on how his CD and his film is great, he has crossover appeal etc
I guess the Four Horsemen DVD doesn't count?
Piper's is really great, one of my favorites, although he darts in and out of kayfabe, but most of them do that.

The Ultimate Warrior one is really funny, but it seems overly biased

Mcmahons is the worst dvd due to this, and the Warrior one due to how immature it was and the slant against him. Even though it's all true why bother making a dvd to trash a guy?
The recent dvd's have been lackluster, such as Austin's(he will tell you himself they could have done better) and HHH's is also kinda shitty in comparison, as they only talk for a brief moment then go into a match. Plus it's HHH and he sucks anyway but yeah.
The rest are all pretty great.
Those I have are Bret's, Pillmans, Pipers, Benoit and HBK.
