The following match is from the July 18, 2005 Tokyo Dome debut show from Pro Wrestling NOAH. It's a match between two of the biggest rivals in Japanese wrestling from the 1990's, Mitsuhara Misawa and Toshiaki Kawada. I would just post the match, but the history of between the two is enormous.
Misawa and Kawada have had a long storied rival dating back to their younger years in All Japan Pro Wrestling. Misawa and Kawada were once a team before they ended up as rivals over the AJPW Triple Crown. Misawa always seemed to get the better of Kawada when the titles were on the line. Kawada had beaten Misawa in regular matches and in tag competition, but for many years he couldn't put Misawa away to win the Triple Crown (he did become Triple Crown Champion by beating others though). Finally, in 1998, Kawada was able to finally beat Misawa for the Triple Crown titles. Kawada would go on to lose the belt (to Kenta Kobashi I think). Misawa would win the Triple Crown back and in January 1999, he once again would face Kawada. This match is infamous for two things: 1) About 1/3 of the way through the match, Kawada legitimately broke his arm across the back of Misawa's head and 2) Kawada would drop Misawa straight on the top of his head while countering a hurricanrana (what became known as a Ganso Bomb).
Misawa (and almost every other contracted wrestler) would leave AJPW in 2000 during the "exodus" forming Pro Wrestling NOAH. Kawada elected to stay in All Japan and thus, a bit of bad blood formed between the two. However, after a few years, the tables were set for Kawada and Misawa to wrestle each other once more.... (dun dun dun)
