I dunno, ability-wise they are fairly comparable in all departments. Went with Edge because he is in WWE and probably making more money.
Also be sure to do what this cute little fellow says and vote for thedamndest in Round Three!

Edge gets the edge in this one. I've always been a Peep tho.

Both are quite awesome, but I always enjoyed Christian just a little bit more than Edge, so I went with him.

I concur. Plus, while everyone else seems to enjoy current Edge, I do not. Ever since he became the "Rated R Superstar" he has become less enjoyable as a heel to me. Christian Cage, meanwhile, has gone down ever since he became a full fledged face again.
Also, Taz SO does not belong in the hall of fame. Austin, even though I hate him, I can understand.
Impact!

Heros Welcome

I have been an Edge Head for a looooooong time. There was a time tho when I thought he was extremely bland but it doesn't change my thoughts on him. I really started to enjoy Christian towards the tail end of his career in the E, and he is the best thing in TNA next to Styles IMO.
When it comes to wrestling and mic skills/charisma I think both men are very much equal. But I give Edge the edge barely because he has accomplished more on the biggest stage, and I think he is the better heel of the two.
Vote goes to EDGE!

Thats a tough one but Edge edged it out!

Christian! I can't remember a time when Christian wasn't solid in the ring and on the mic, while Edge has had periods of rusty, sloppy, and boring ring and mic work. I was a huge Edge fan until he came back from his neck injury. He was boring in the ring and boring on the mic a lot of times. I still liked him, but significantly less. He started being awesome again a couple of months before Lita left WWE. He's been pretty great lately and had one of the best Wrestlemania matches.
I know I'm a Christan mark, but that's because I love his ring and mic work. I probably wouldn't even watch TNA if he wasn't there. He's been consistently entertaining (with the exception of a few Impacts).

I'm pissed and very confused about Taz going over Hunter, but oh well...
Peeps > Edgeheads.

First one I have to think about.
What Would Kevin Do?
06-12-2008, 01:00 AM
Edge... Hard choice, but honestly, I don't think CHristian will ever fully "reach his potential" especially in TNA.
El Fangel
06-12-2008, 01:16 AM
I am not thinking about it in those lines, because Christian has no/ or limited control over his character, and neither does Edge, they do what is scripted, but in terms of ability/charisma/coolness, I say they are dead even
Draw.

After a long think about this I've settled on Edge. They both have an extremely awkward style and both are kinda one dimensional on the mic (yeah I said it.) But I think Edge has a higher tendency to pull out epic matches than his former counterpart. Really mind racking decision for me though, harder than I thought it would be.

No contest. Edge's private affairs became a Jerr Springer reality show and then got the tv movie treatment in the company for which he works.
Christian was never given his chance to rise the way he deserved, and left the company for better treatment.
Christian is a superior human being.

charisma wise i'd take christian over edge, always thought he was the funnier half of E&C. In terms of wrestling both are similar so when it comes down to it, in terms of championships and success i'm gonna have to give the nod to edge, tho if he was used properly Christian prolly would've surpassed him.

Gonna vote for christian, very tough decision though. They're very equal, Edge has had slightly more success than Christian, but I always found Christian consistantly more entertaining.

A midcarder who was outpopping the main eventers or a main eventer who got "boring" chanted at him.
Christian's awesme. Edge is okay.

Christian, based pretty much on mic work. I think they are both good in the ring, I'd say Cage utilises a better moveset at the minute, in TNA.

Edge is probably a bit better in the ring. But he's been the most boring heel for about three years now. Christian Cage has been quality since E&C's heel turn.

I love both of these guys, but I'm going with Edge based on the fact that I can never look at Christian and believe him as a main eventer (as much as I would really like to). Edge just has that "it" factor that Christian seems to lack. This was a very difficult choice, though, if not solely for that Royal Rumble promo that Christian did that one year:
CHRISTIAN: Tomko, give me a beat.
TOMKO: .......no.

A couple of years ago, I would've easily said Christian during the end of his WWE stint and the start of his stay with TNA.
Now however, after Edge has transformed into one of the few main event characters in the WWE that legitimately interests and entertains me and after Christian has been seemingly doing nothing in TNA and fizzled out in my eyes, I will cast my vote for the rated r superstar.
