I was going to guess Trips vs. Harvey, but they may not pull the trigger that fast.

Rob knows his shit, and I read something from him suggesting Triple H vs. John Cena was the plan for RAW. Not sure if that is from a source, or his own guess work.
I read recently that The Undertaker is due back in time for Summerslam, and the way some of the reports on why he is taking time off are written makes me think that he will return and feud with Edge. So maybe Edge vs. The Undertaker for the World Heavyweight Championship and Triple H vs. John Cena for the WWE Championship?
I hope I am wrong, because neither are fresh matches nor feel like particularly compelling stories at the moment, but it seems like something the WWE would do at this point in time.

I'm hoping Chris Jericho gets to do something major at Summerslam, by the way. In a perfect world: Chris Jericho vs. Shawn Michaels for the WWE Championship. However, if Cena vs. Triple H is on, then the best hope might be Chris Jericho vs. Shawn Michaels in an attempt to do another Intercontinental Title classic at Summerslam, joining Bret Hart vs. The British Bulldog, and I think there is a beloved Bret Hart vs. Mr. Perfect Summerslam IC Title match, isn't there?

Summerslam is the second biggest pay per view of the year am I wrong? It's certainly one of the biggest. Would they seriously repeat the Night Of Champions main event two months later?
Is this a stupid question.

If it comes to that they'll probably make it a Ladder match.

Yes, it is a stupid question. Of course the WWE would repeat its Night of Champions main events for Summerslam. The Night of Champions main events will all probably end in disqualification, anyway.
Also, as far as the ECW Title goes, I'm going to guess that Kane defeats Big Show at Night of Champions, defeats Mark Henry at The Great American Bash, and then defends the belt against Umaga at Summerslam.

If Cena somehow gets drafted to Smackdown then I think the card will go like this...
Edge vs. The Undertaker - World Title
Triple H vs. Chris Jericho - WWE Title
Kane vs. Big Show - ECW Title
John Cena vs. The Great Khali (yes, I know)
Jeff Hardy vs. Lance Cade - IC Title (Jericho drops it Hardy)
HBK vs. MVP (MVP gets drafted to Raw)
Batista vs. Umanga (Umanga gets drafted to Smackdown)
And then CM Punk gets put on the card facing a guy from the show he gets drafted to (I'm sure they are moving him off ECW). Probably JBL if he gets drafted to Raw or maybe against Matt Hardy for the U.S. Title if he's drafted to Smackdown.

After the article about Trip/Cena/Orton being in all but two Raw title PPV main events since 2002, it would be nice to see a completely fresh main event. Won't happen, but still.
Yeah, maybe have Cena drop the belt to Jericho (hah!) and have Jericho vs Michaels or Jericho vs Hardy. Not fresh matches, but they haven't been shoved down out throats as title main events on PPV.

I could be wrong, but wasn't there a time (like... the Attitude Era?) when we could see matches like Austin/Rock or Undertaker/Austin or even Rock/Triple H a hundred times and still not get bored with it?
Now it seems like matches are always being repeated leaving us with this kinda "Again????" mentality.

But the thing is, they would change things up between the matches. We may have seen Austin vs Taker several times... but we saw heel rising star Austin vs World champion Undertaker, whitehot babyface champion Austin vs top babyface challenger Undertaker, Austin vs evil Undertaker, Austin vs powerful Ministry Undertaker, paranoid heel Austin vs American Bad Ass biker Undertaker....
what I mean is the matches all had something to differentiate themselves, a change in character or demeanor or a new or popular stipulation.
Now we just get plain old Triple H vs Randy Orton or Edge vs Undertaker over and over again with no change in their characters, tired old stipulations, and no whitehot angles or promos to keep interest flowing.
I'll save my money i guess. Non of these ideas intrest me. Somone PM me when Adrian Adonis makes a comeback.

Summerslam has been shit past few years IMO.
Last year's was the worst I've ever seen. 2004 was pretty shit. All the others in between were quite good

I think they've all been pretty awful since 2002. I'm always dissapointed with Summerslam.
