They have something I just noticed on WWE.com that I don't think has been posted here yet. They are letting people predict who will go where and post their predictions on their board (WWE Fan Nation or whatever it is). Anyway, I did it (its at http://www.wwe.com/shows/raw/wwedraft2008/fantasydraft/ ), and I had some very weird choices.

RAW DRAFT PICK PREDICTIONS:
Shelton Benjamin
Montel Vontavious Porter

SMACKDOWN DRAFT PICK PREDICTIONS:
Ted DiBiase
Umaga
CM Punk
Shawn Michaels
Chris Jericho

ECW DRAFT PICK PREDICTIONS:
Brian Kendrick
Rey Mysterio
Carlito
Val Venis
Super Crazy
Shannon Moore

From this, I gathered:

1: I REALLY screwed RAW over. They don't need any more main event stars right now, and Shelton Benjamin could be someone to move up there. MVP is another they could push (and Mr. Kennedy is getting back to form). All in all, though, I had really raped RAW.

2: ECW got the most out of my draft. I gave them an ECW Original in Rey and Super Crazy (I THINK Super is an ECW Original), Kendrick would do awesome there, Val could use that to get a new gimmick, and I just moved Carlito and Moore over just to shake things up a bit.

3: SD gets the big name moves in Shawn and Jericho (and from what I read on JR's blog, there are hints that there is going to be some huge names switching tomorrow, although they'll probably move Cena, I'm suspecting something we'll never expect). Those two can continue their feud, and Jericho just feels like a blue guy (and it's time for Shawn to change, as I've said with EVERY draft they've done). DiBiase could hone up his skills there, Umaga needs a change in scenery (maybe another face turn to go after Kozlov since both of them really need something to do). Out of all, though, CM Punk's move may be moot (wherever he goes) because of him having the MITB thing (they could move him wherever they want when they are ready for him to cash it in), so no one would be hurt by Punk's move, but SD could really use him short term.

I didn't consider any titles in this one, so I did this not considering that Jericho currently has the IC title (this is, more or less, the only person I moved that had a title, and Shawn and Chris are the only two that are on the Night Of Champions card, I just noticed).

I'm expecting Noid to move a LOT of people when he does this.

With Teddy Long as the ECW GM, and Vickie as the SmackDown GM, how'll they figure out who picks for Raw?
Or is it another Draft Lotto?

Sucks that there is no "Fire Now" roster.

The thing that really brings that into question is that he said that a LONG time ago, and his feelings might have changed (by a long time ago, I mean by a few years or so, approx.). I don't know if he renewed that declaration recently, but I haven't read anything recently that might tell us that he's still not wanting to go onto the blue brand (he HAS worked a few shows here and there since saying that, I can't remember what angle he was doing at that time, but it was building an interpromotional match).

That's really all I have on that one. He did say that, but that was such a long time ago that it might be outdated.

Also, I've noticed that in most towns, Wednesday church happens during the evening hours, not morning (at least in the towns I've lived in and visiited), so unless his town is one of the select few that have services on Wed. morning, then he would only be using that as an excuse. And he DID catch some flak some years ago with people thinking he was using his religion as a means to get what he wanted. I think that might've been told around that timeframe he made that decleration.

Still, can't help but think of what JR said about this draft, that the WWE really wants to shake some things up and cause some real talk (and this has nothing to do with your point, Diesel. I'm just on a roll and want to bring this up since I'm here). The way to do that is to move a person NO one is expecting. HBK (or HHH, for that matter) would be those probably two that no one is expecting because those two are understood as being so fixated on not moving from RAW. The only one that falls in that category on SmackDown is the Undertaker, and he's expected to continue his feud with Edge when he comes back, so he's already out of the question (even though that might make him unexpected and thus able to be moved under that circumstance, unless they want to move Edge and the entire "familia" stable, too, which is nearly impossible right now, the Undertaker is NOT going ANYWHERE unless they are killing the angle). I expect everyone in the IWC knows that they might move Cena, so it wouldn't be THAT much of a surprise, NO one in ECW (save Adamle and Tazz) would be unexpected to move because...well, why would they be unexpected? They've raped SmackDown of talent in the past with these drafts, so we could already be expecting them to try to do that again with this one (I HOPE not. From what I saw on that page, RAW has the biggest roster right now. They do NOT need to crowd that side up any more without losing a significant number of people). Not many people would see a huge SD name be stolen as unexpected because we've seen the track record of how SD fares in these drafts (they get ganged raped in every orafice possible). This leaves someone from RAW being taken that would make people reel big time. The only two that would be able to do THAT through this elimination process are Triple H and HBK. Triple H, for right now, is the WWE Champion. We don't know if they want to do with the titles what they did in 2005 (they might not because of that ECW Title now in the mix, but it's possible they could move some midcard titles around). Unless they plan to have him drop it to Cena (which from the rumored Cena jump to SD it might not be possbile unless a title move would be in the plans), I don't think they'll move HHH. That leaves HBK, which I don't know what they will do about that IC title thing. Do they want the Jericho/HBK feud to go past Night of Champions? Will they think of switching midcard titles around (IC for US title)? I think that, after all the things considered, that would possibly stop a HBK move to SD (or even to ECW. Remember the whole RAW/ECW change that will happen very soon, although that won't make any sense to me).

I'm hoping that they are at least considering this. Remember that him and Vince have not really seen eye to eye in the past, and he has always done what they wanted him to do sooner or later at some point if they don't give him that many options, so my take is that they could do that here if they want to move him.
