Why does everyone automatically assume its something to do with injuries? Why would they have the money on the stage and did you notice that they purposley showed the money on the ground being moved around. Lots of wrestlers were around. I think its something to do with the 500,000.

Kane gets moved off the shit show. He should be jumping for joy.

Maybe he knocked everything over in his excitement?

Jumping for joy why? So he beat up on Shelton Benjamin, Cryme Time and whatever other wrestler not in the main event for the IC title? I mean, thats about as far as they'll let him go.

But he'll be on a show that people actually give a fuck about.

Being a jobber on RAW is above being ECW champion.

In all seriousness, I think it will be Shane McMahon. Or Stephanie McMahon. One of the McMahons that thinks Vince has lost it, and doesn't like the family funds being thrown at the fans wrecklessly.

Also, the $500,000 being taken might have something to do with the angle, but I doubt it will be the center of it.

Everybody has a price.

It would actually be pretty awesome if it's revealed that Ted DiBiase Sr. was the one funding the giveaway. Don't know how they could work it into the storyline, but it could involve the second generation stable being behind the attack.

RP

Why wouldnt it be? Its the best way to end it. Vince trying to give money away and the biggest prize gets stolen. All those wrestlers around the area at the same time. Its a big Who Did It angle. Plus, why would they rehash the same type of angle involving Vince and injuries or death.

Also, why do they even have 500,000$ on the stage if they were gunna do that whole setup. I think its about the money. Atleast i hope, because doing a " Someone tried to kill Vince " angle again seems so stupidly cheesy.

Making it simpler, so as not to simply drop it from the program while ultimately highlighting the draft as the focal point of the show.

Personally, I think making the money part of the storyline, in a major sense, is stupid, because even if they aren't, wrestlers should be making out they make that much. You can't call a guy a "Superstar" and then have an angle about how he needs to pay off the mortgage.

I was thinking after I made my initial prediction of Shane McMahon, that this would be a great way to bring a certain someone back. Whoever did it is going to look like a cunt, as Vince was almost a face with this Million Dollar Mania thing, and was giving to the fans. And attempted murder is a bit far to take the whole rebellious face thing. I guess it might be a bit too much to expect the WWE to rememeber that, but ah well.

Recently, in storylines, a man got fired that wasn't actually released from his WWE contract. He had a lot of power, and was on the rise and getting mammoth heat. William Regal was the King of the WWE, and had everything in the palm of his hand. Then, because Vince started his "Million Dollar Mania" and doing things for the fans, Regal was put in a match where he could be fired.

Mr. Regal being behind the attempted murder of Vince McMahon would be an epic way to bring him back with the kind of powerful heat he left with.

Oh yeah, and on the WWE.com Million Dollar Mania results page, it only talks about the people who won the $100,000 prizes. So the $500,000 is most likely a part of it.

Now then....how much must it suck to be the guy that was supposed to win that?

I think its Shane as well.

There's been a lot of talk about a stable being formed with 2nd generation guys in the business. Cody Rhodes, Ted Dibiase and DH Smith talked about as the key players. This group will fail without a top guy leading them (much like Hunter did with Evoltuion).

To me the most logical person to fill this role is Randy Orton. Randy is injured right now, and he could be like Bret Hart in 1997 when he had the bad knee. Getting his minions to do his dirty work.

If they wanted to add a mouthpiece to the stable, who better than Shane McMahon? Shane's a thrid generation guy, like Randy and they could talk about how they've all banded together to take over the business (or whatever).

Shane's angle would be that Vince has a death grip on the company and makes poor decisions, and wont give it up until he dies. The giving away millions of dollars thing was the last straw because that took money out of his kids pockets and he didnt like it. So he formed this group, with Randy, et all to take over the WWE.

Randy gets another heel run with the title, and Cena, Bats, Rey and HBK have to battle them. Lots of good programs can come out of that. And it would also give the green guys a lot of exposure and a chance to sink or swim (much like Orton and Batista had with Evolution).

But I would laugh and love if it was Rikihsi.

lol the way it all happened looked really cheap.

It reminded me of a ride I went on in MGM Studios, Florida.

Still though, stupid and whatever else you may call it, it's better than the normal shit.

I call J.R. he seemed pretty pissed about moving to Smackdown.

This could be a pretty good storyline. Without the risk of sounding like Noid (:p), here's an idea that I wouldn't mind seeing.

-As we saw last night, RAW seemed to clean house. RAW and Smackdown got a lot of the top talents, while ECW got pummeled.

-I think it would be cool (well...not totally), if Triple H and Jim Ross were once again traded back to RAW (yes, I can hear 'groaning' amongst you posters, but hear me out).

-As the weeks go by, we see more and more "incidents" (i.e. senior officials backstage being mysteriously attacked, etc.). This leads to a "whodunnit" angle.

-Ultimately, it is revealed that Rikishi was behind it all along and he was doing it for The Rock (sorry, had to get that in there ;)). Seriously - I think it would be cool if Shelton Benjamin was revealed to be the man behind the Vince assault (amongst others)

-Benjamin could then cut a "worked shoot" promo about how there was a glass ceiling in the WWE...and how Vince didn't give a crap about Smackdown or ECW (and basically used ECW to tarnish its legacy). Benjamin can then talk about how "JR and Triple H were traded back to RAW" because of political bullshit. Benjamin can even mention Michael Hayes....and how because of Hayes, Benjamin was held back and sent to ECW to rot.

Benjamin then claims that "it ends now." Benjamin then encourages that Smackdown and ECW unite, so that THEY (collectively) take over the #1 "timeslot" in the company. THEY belong on the #1 show.

LOL....Rikishi (I did it for Dwayne Johnson!). :p

My only "beef" with the culprit being Shane McMahon or Randy Orton, is the fact that both men are already 'over'....and are already established 'big names.' They can't get bigger than they already are.

I'd much rather have some mid-carder (with promising talent) be the culprit. Personally - I would love to see Shelton Benjamin be the man. Shelton can use the following reasons:

-Vince cares more about giving away money to the fans as a publicity stunt, then his own employees.
-Shelton can give a "worked shoot" promo about how he's being held back by the WWE due to race (heck, maybe even bring up Michael Hayes here).
-Shelton Benjamin can diss the fans on how they don't appreciate TRUE talents....and how they only like wrestlers that can "talk good" and "amuse them."

Benjamin can then finish all his promo's by saying, "AIN'T NO STOPPIN' ME.....NOOOOOOOOO!" :shifty:
