(/Heel heat)

But nah it is crashing like crazy. Any time I like open a video in Windows Media Player, or plug in my iPod or something like that, it dies. Sometimes I get a message that says it was closed due to this "data execution prevention" thing, which I try to turn off but Windows won't let me.

Help.

Also, yes Downunder, I know, Firefox sucks, Opera is teh Pwn.

Next time it happens, take a screenshot and post it, or just post the entire error message. Also, have you upgraded to firefox 3, or is this firefox 2 still? What add-ons are you running?

You can set Firefox to disable DEP if you want. Probably the best bet right now.

Just right click on any of your My Computer icons (start menu, desktop, etc) and go to Properties. From there click on the "Advanced" tab and click the Settings button under the Performance section. There should be a "Data Execution Prevention" tab (most likely the last one). Click that and make sure the option "Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select:" is chosen and then click on the Add button. Navigate to your Firefox program (Program Files/Mozilla Firefox *version number*) and select the firefox.exe

Click Ok and exit out of all those screens and see if that fixes your problem. You're not the only one with the problem and there are already bug reports on it so it will probably get fixed in a later update.

That walkthrough I gave was for XP so if you have Vista and it's not the same then you may need to just disable it completely. http://www.realtime-vista.com/administration/2007/04/disabling_data_execution_preve.htm

I did try to disable DEP for Firefox. Says that I can't do it for that program. I do have Vista, so that's maybe why.

Req, running Firefox 3, with Adblock Plus, Download Statusbar, Foxytunes (which isn't working), Image Zoom, Pong, and Session Manager.

You might just try that link and disable DEP completely. You can turn it back on if it doesn't work.
