Curt Hennig, better known as Mr. Perfect, competed for the American Wrestling Association, World Wrestling Entertainment and World Championship Wrestling. Born the son of legendary Larry “The Axe” Hennig, it was perhaps inevitable that Curt would want to follow in his father’s footsteps. But Mr. Perfect lived up to his moniker becoming one of the best in-ring technicians of his generation. A former AWA World Heavyweight Champion, he was also the longest-reigning Intercontinental Champion of the 1990s. Loved by fans and friends alike, Mr. Perfect entertained in and out of the ring, earning him the honour of induction into the WWE Hall of Fame. This two-disc set relives his life and career, from his early start as a second-generation star through AWA, WWE, and WCW. Some of his greatest matches and vignettes are included. Who was this man? Here’s a hint… he was absolutely “perfect”.

There should be more matches, especially from 1989-1991.

Where is the IC title tourney final, where he wins the belt (actually, a WWF World tag team belt!) after defeating Tito Santana, for example? Also historically significant for being the moment that Bobby Heenan was unveiled as his manager.

Plus, some random match against Von Erich from MSG, rather than one of the matches in which the IC title actually changed hands. The match where he beat Tornado for the strap after interference from DiBiase would have been more fitting.

Plus, as good as it was, Bret vs Perfect from SummerSlam is overplayed. Wasn't it on Bret's DVD too? Their King of the Ring 93 rematch may have been a more refreshing choice.

How about the Loser Leaves the WWF match vs Ric Flair?? Or was that on Flair's DVD?

it's on one of the DVD's. I think Raw's.

ok matches, but I don't get these DVD's for the matches. In fact, I hardly ever watch the matches. should be another great one for the collection though

With Hennig's condition, the Summerslam match is a far better choice. He shouldn't have even been in the building that night.

I'm aware of that, it's quite possibly my favourite match of all time, my point is do we really need it on another DVD, when to my knowledge the underrated KOTR 93 match has yet to see the light of day on DVD.

The King of the Ring 1993 match is on the Bret Hart DVD. And I personally believe that match is superior to the Summer Slam 1991 match, but both were really good.
