LOL, this had no replies.

Anyways, just finished it. I was just going to give it a quick blast before I go back to Fable 2 to finish off the post-main quest, uh, quests but I coouldn't put it down.

Yes, there is a trilogy and Cliffy B didn't go back on his promise of having a real (read: non-bullshit cliffhanger) ending, but watch after the credits roll (they're unskippable anyway).

Brilliant, riding the enemies animals is just fantastic and there are enough story twists to keep you going. Much MUCH better than the first, which was an awesome game anyways.

Quick note about the GFX, obviously they were lying when they said GoW 1 was pushing the 360 to it's limits, but good god, this one must be pushing it close.

How long Hasney?

It is worth full price or should I give it a rent and knock it out in a weekend?

It depends, are you gonna play on Live? The story took me a good 20-30 hours on medium and there were only 1 or 2 bits where I died more than once (fucking Dom not reviving me).

Apparently, the multi-player is worth the game alone, but I found the single player to be awesome enough. You could knock it out in a weekend if you glue yourself to the TV and do nothing else though :)

Toys R Us has it with a $15 gift card

Is it me, or does this game have like 30 times the cutscenes of the previous game? It seems longer, for sure, but that seems to be less because you're doing more, and more because you have more cutscenes, dialogue, and bullshit com portions where you're walking around with your hand on your ear and unable to do anything useful.

I have actually heard some bad things about this one's multiplayer. IE - not as good.. but then GoW 1 wasn't my thing either.

It's good, there are just exploitable glitches :(

I can't see myself playing GoW online anyway, especially since Gears fans manage to actually repulse me more than Halo fans....

My wife and mI are trying to plough through this before our baby is born...making good progress too. I love how much more cinematic this one feels.

Xbox seems to be working again now, although I'm still having to reboot sometimes due to freezing. Got up to the part where you go to landown and Ilima and get eaten by that giant worm.

Couldn't believe it when Tai killed himself but had a feeling that Camine would die.

Absolutely loving this though despite the hardware set backs, haven't tried any online yet, not sure if I will even bother to be honest.

I assumed that all the new stereotypes would die in some shape ort form. I expected Carmine to die first, though, as the fresh faced rookie.I epected Tai to die later at some crucial moment. He served his purpose, though.

The cut scenes really become fewer in the later game, which has made this more enjoyable to me.

Right, just finished single player and I can honestly say I loved every minute of it. Pretty awesome ending IMO. Gonna try out Horde mode and maybe multiplayer if I can get a match.

Ploughing through this on insane at the moment. Went through first on hardcore, with my brother popping in from time to time.

It's an outstanding game, so many incredible stand out moments....could have done with out the driving section though, like the last game that bit was pap.

Some shocking bits as well, especially for Dom :'(
