I've met Flair and Bruno. Flair was a prick, and Bruno was a stand-up guy.

I'll be fair, he speaks the truth about a Flair match being repetitive. But I <3 the Flair charactor and where he is at now and what he was in the 80's / 90's.

Did Bruno ever put 190,000 asses in seats at once?

How old was Bruno when he called quits? Who did Bruno inspire? Fuck Bruno. Ric Flair puts asses in seats with style.

He realized that he couldn't wrestle a good match anymore, so he left? Flair's last match was only good because Shawn Michaels (Or Micheals, whichever) carried him to it. When was Flair's last good match where he wasn't carried?
I've got to admit. When Ric Flair was in WCW I didn't like him as his matches were the same and I watched him do a jumping knee drop that he always does on some guy and completely missed and the dude still sold it. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Gotta agree with Bruno that Flair's matches, with a few brilliant exceptions here or there (with brilliant opponents, I might add) are pretty much all the same. I mean, why does he always go to the top rope and get thrown off? Why did he always do the upside-down flip in the corner (before his age put a limit on that)? Because they were part of his match. Not his move set. His match. And that's kind of lame.

flair is fucking boring. A crazy wild eyed old man who takes the same cartoon bumps.

Main reason i liked Flair was his charisma and promos tbh, not his wrestling skills.

Good. Flair's one ugly motherfucker, and he could do without a face.

Main reason every single fan in the 80's and early 90's liked Hogan was his charisma and promos tbh, not his wrestling skills.

What Ric Flair lacked in being able to carry himself physically he made up for with his name and getting the fans into it. People all over the world would get into it if the name on the marque was Ric Flair. In his later years Ric Flair wasn't a great wrestler, but we'll all be damned if he wasn't a great entertainer. And being an entertainer put asses in seats, not being a wrestler. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

getting the fans into it.
It's not hard to get into a match that consists of an old man getting thrown around the ring for a few minutes.

You CAN NOT have a five star match by yourself. That takes two men. Four stars? Sure, Flairs and HBM have both carried houndreds of men to four star matches. But no one can carry anyone to a fvie star match, it takes two men busting their asses to get their. HBM COULD NOT have done that WITH OUT Flair.
And ftr, while Flair was on the acrive roster last year he, a thousand year old man, could still work a better match than most of the young guys. It was sad.

And ftr, and I've said this on here before, in some ways (particularly after the moonsault) Flair carried HBM through that match. Neither man could have made it through that with out each other. They both rose to the occasion and carried each other through it and to say either man was packed on their shoulders through that match is absurd to me.

I'd link you to the match of the Japanese guy wrestling himself, but I don't have it on me. :P
Of course it takes 2 people, but let's divvy up the workload between Shawn and Flair. (I'll just use his Mania match as an example, I have no problem with his earlier stuff) What was the percentage, like 70/30, 80/20?
The best thing Flair did in the match was saying ''I love you'' or ''Do it'' (Either or) just before the end and then getting blasted in the face with a superkick.

Sad but true.

Still seeing it.

Man I don't know what you qualify as good. Flair was there the whole time bumping more than he had in years, pulling out moves he hadn't in decades, working harder than her since the fold of WCW. Flair wasn't out there pulling rest holds every five minits. Flair was working. And working hard.
And like I said, there were points in that match that Flair was carrying the ENTIRE work load of the match while HBM recoverd. so I'd say 50/50. Now I'll give you that Flair could only have had a match at that callibur with a very select few guys. But likewise, HBM couldn't either. the same guys HBM would have had that legendary level of a match Flair would have as well. Flair proved in that match that alls he had to do is turn on the juice and the magic was there. And I think anyone with the eyes to see it saw it. Flair was on top of his game as if he was always there. He was dynamite.

Listen, you've swayed me. I'll watch the match again, I'll come back. Mind you, I thought the match was good to begin with. I'll give Flair a second chance.

Good interview.
Does anybody have a link to a good site with a bunch of RF Video interviews? I really want to see the Demolition one.

I don't have to take anybody's word for anything in a he said/she said/they said slagging match. The only thing I would say is that plently of people come out and say the exact same things about Flair, says or does one thing to your face and then comes out and says or does the complete opposite later.
I guess you can either say Flair acts a dick sometimes or that other people could be jealous depending on what side of the fence you are on.
Good thing about this was, I watched the Piper/Bruno match

Let's split the difference. Michaels put on a 4.5 star match, Flair a .5 star match. Therefore, Michaels clearly didn't do it alone. Flair gets points for showing up.
