They've said there will be more. I wouldn't mind seeing a re-make of metal gear and metal gear 2: solid snake.

Or maybe some more games based around big boss.

Oh and here's a cool video that some people made.

Hopefully away. Kojima is Alienoid with the budget to make his slashfics come true and the fanbase to make his lack of logic beyond rreproach.

I dunno, as over-the-top, and as unessecarily complex as the plot is, I still find myself enjoying it. And in my mind, MGS 3 has undoubtably, the best ending in a videogame ever.

And the gameplay is still great.

As for whether there will be more, Kojima has officialy stated that 4 is not the last metal gear, but it is the last metal gear featuring snake, and at the moment, the last metal gear kojima will be directly involved in.

Some people are saying raiden should take the lead role, but I think that would contradict raiden's ending, and really weaken the relationship and coversations snake and raiden had in MGS 4. I'd rather see an all new character.

And Kojima wasn't involved in Portable Ops, and that apparently turned out really well, so you don't nessicarily need kojima to make a good metal gear.

The problem I see with them making another one is that without setting it in the past or it being a "Side Story" to the main game is that they've wrapped it up pretty well. All the currently characters have closure and it's ended their story.

If they were to make another one I'd have it with a completely new cast of characters and maybe set it 50-100 years into the future. Make it so that the events of the Patriots/Out Haven have long passed and the characters are no longer alive.

Establish a brand new cast and new story.

It's not really so much that it's complex, it's that it lacks continuity and makes up for it in silly reasons and plot holes.

Solid Snake is gone, but I'm sure another Big Boss clone will pop up with Hayter playing him.

All the 'Snakes' are accounted for, and eventually the last one will die.

I remember that in FOXHOUND that the two titles that get passed around multiple members are Snake and Fox. In continuity the last Fox was Frank Jeager(SP) as Grey Fox. I'd continue Metal Gear with a successor to the Fox title starring, although it might be much to bring back FOXHOUND altogether.

I am against Raiden taking over the series, it would ruin his ending.
