Who has the worst voice in the history of wrestling?

I'd go for Brock Lesnar. Despite being as big and impressive-looking as he is, the guy sounds like he's Mickey Mouse's voice actor. Never sounds menacing at all.

Nah, I got used to Lesnar's voice and it wasn't SO bad.

Bobby Lashley on the other hand...

Lashleys voice is certainly up there, can't think of who else. Maybe Jillian Hall, if that counts?

Lashley is a given, can't figure out why they would call attention to it by putting "soft-spoken" in his TitanTron. It basically announces, "Yeah, this guy totally sounds like a pussy," every time he comes out.

Right now, Vickie is doing a great job with the whiny heel voice. Stephanie used to do the same thing when she was with Hunter, it totally made you hate her.

yea Lashley. I remember going :wtf: when I first heard him speak.

on the other hand, the greatest voice ever was Kevin Wacholz aka Nailz.

Iron Shiek is a possibility. You can't understand a word he says. On the other hand, that makes him highly hilarious.

People are unjustly ragging on Bobby Lashley once again.

The man could talk, he could talk well, but its just that people have come to be pre disposed to the notion that a huge muscular guy should sound like some sort of gremlin. The matter of the TRUTH is that a lot of the guys make their voices sound a certain way, that is not actually the way their voice sounds. Bobby Lashley was just using his natural voice and I saw nothing wrong with that. He is a real life bad ass and the fact that he spoke softly does not calculate in my mind as some big bad flaw of his.

I think it was an advantage, here was a guy who is unique. He is a physical monster, but unlike say Kane, or Big Show, he is not an, "RRRGH ME SMASH" monster, no, he was a calculating, intelligent man who was simply a good pure athlete.

He wasn't suppose to be an evil monster to have some sort of unnatural scary voice. He was SUPPOSE to be a pure ATHLETE!

I still think WWE screwed up by allowing the situation backstage to escalate into having Bobby Lashley leave. The man was one of the most definitive talents of this era and had the complete package and I saw great potential in him as a heel as well as the role he played as a face. I think all this Lashley criticism is unfounded and biased because people were unhappy with the "WWE pushing him too fast", when in fact, people were really upset at a simple change in the WWE.

I hope Lashley one day returns to the WWE and gets treated properly because the man's skill on on par with the top of the youth of the company.

His voice is certainly on par with the youth of America.

See what I did there?

Knox needs a character. He sounds and looks like an unmotivated bum because WWE did not give him a direction for his character.

Slaughter changed his voice so he sounded tougher. He first did this as a baby face and later did this as a heel. Why? He could make more money ifpeople bought him as a tough guy. Wrestling is a show. In this show you need to make yourself fit public expectations. A lot of that comes from creating a charecter that is in no way like yourself. Lashley should learn from those who came before him, and man up.

I totally agree. I always liked Lashley. Sure he may have been pushed to the moon a little early, but he had talent.

As far as worst voice? I'm gonna go with Luna Vachon.

Lashley does get too much heat for his voice. It really wasn't THAT bad.

I'd have to go with Don West. Seriously, who thought it was a good idea to put this annoying bastard on TV?

Who was that guy who announced for late WCW? Wasn't it Mark Madden or something? He was awful. Oh and Chyna's voice was horrible but it fit her. Everytime she tried to talk feminine, she would slip and some testosterone would pop out.
