Whoa. I made a joke with my brother about this happening years ago. "Wouldn't it be funny if The Rock became a polititian?"

"The Rock says this. Iraq, you wanna deny the UK access to your chemical weapons chambers? Well The Rock is going to get on a plane... Flyyyyyyyyyyyyyy to Iraq... Take those WMD's, shiiiiiiiine 'em up real nice, and stick them straight up, your arab ass!"

And then we continued discussing The Rock cutting promos at his debates.

lol @ the thought of a Rock-Schwartzenegger battle for governor of California. It would be awesome and depressing all at the same time.

Rock for Governor ? That would be weird. With the fan base that he has this would be the best time to do it. I bet that more fans would vote for him because of wrestling then what ever his views were.

The Rock Says He'd Consider Politics

<!-- begin body-content -->WASHINGTON - Could there be another President Johnson in the White House one day? The Rock isn't ruling out that possibility.

The action star and former professional wrestler, whose real name is Dwayne Johnson, spoke at both the Democratic and Republican conventions in 2000 to encourage people to register to vote.

When AP Radio asked whether he'd like to enter politics himself, he said: "Possibly, you never know. Maybe one day. Absolutely. ... I talked to Arnold (Schwarzenegger) about that, too.

"We'll see. One day, maybe President Johnson," he added with a laugh.

The Rock's new movie, "Walking Tall," opens April 2. It's inspired by the 1973 original about real-life Tennessee Sheriff Buford Pusser.

Jesse ran on more than just "star power," considering he didn't have the mainstream appeal that Arnold was riding on. I mean, half of my friends don't even recognise Jesse, but everyone knows the tuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuhmanatah...

The Rock, on the other hand, has starred in a couple of movies, he's one of the guys people think of when they think wrestling...

He could run on catch phrases...

On the main page it says "Rock heading for white house?"

He's not native born, is he? If not he couldn't become president.
