I know it is pretty overdone in wrestling, and that could already be the reply for many of you, but I would quite like to see the development of this angle with Dibiase/Rhodes and the King.

I know there are a lot of ifs, ands and buts, but what I would like to see (in a perfect world), is something like the following.

Next week on Raw, we have Dibiase and Rhodes come out and challenge Duggan and the King for Summerslam...the two accept and we have the match quite early on the card at the event.

In the match, the two young stars look bright and King grabs the win with a rookie mistake from Rhodes. Dibiase and Rhodes begin a beatdown of King and Duggan. King gets knocked outside the ring and the two young men take apart Duggan...(Rhodes moreso, while Dibiase looks more apprehensive...think it would be good character development to differentiate, Rhodes has been the crueler of the two so far imo)

Que a run-in from Dusty Rhodes and Ted Snr. Would be a real mark out moment for me and add some real interest to the angle, in my opinion. The two dads spanking their sons and saving a badly damaged Duggan would be a Summerslam moment for me.

Next night on RAW, the two juniors come out irate and call out the two seniors. King makes it known that he wants to join the seniors later that night in teaching the two juniors a lesson. Main Event is King, Dibiase Snr, Rhodes Snr against the cocky two boys...by themselves such is their overconfidence.

Main Event is fun, lots of father and son stuff, nostalgic moves etc.... King is about to finish things with a trademark top buckle fist drop on a prone Rhodes Jnr when out of nowhere a capped fan pushes him off, while the other brawl outside the ring. Rhodes steals back his win and the fan takes off his cap to reveal Brian Christopher to close the show.

Obviously this would be dependent on letting Christopher back given his past etc...but a promo stating how he was made to do "Too Much and Too Cool" and how he was mistreated for being a son of the King....he should have been taklen seriously etc... would be great to watch.

Next week on Raw, we get the now three-strong junior team coming out and cutting their usual anti-dad promo. A few promos and tags/brawls can fill upt the next few weeks and maybe a three man tag can fill the next pay per view.

At some stage we can introduce Deuce and Snuke to their respective sides (Jnr/Snr, although not father/son), and we have the feud blow-ff at Survivor Series in a traditional elimination match with the Juniors coming out on top. We then have a ready made stable coming out of it to be a force on RAW and progress the four members (or the three remaining if you no lonmger want to use Christopher)

What do you think? Yes, no? I think it gives the senior/junior feud a new edge and could create some new stars in a really interesting way...discuss whatever side you fall on...

I thought you were going to have an idea for Kurt.

Anyway I like the idea on paper, but the problem I have with it is their team is about a youth movement and Brian Christopher doesn't fit in with that. But I really like the father vs son deal.

I'm sorry, but this father/son angle sounds like something Eminem would rap about. "I hate my dad and I wanna knock him out!"
Now I'm all for the old school vs new idea, but leave CAWdy's dad out of it (and off the mic, the dude has seen better days with this slur), and just let Ted Sr cut a few promos for either side since he's still a hell of a talker.

Yeah, I had thought about that, but I guess I rationalized that he adds a new dynamic, you know, the trodden son who believes his career has not reached its potential because of his father's legacy...

Definate negatives to the angle, I agree, and I also realise that many new fans won't really know the fathers, apart from the fact that they are fathers, but it's an interesting dynamic and if it really is an eminem rap, surely that is exactly the type of demographic the WWE wants to cater for?

I dont think Dibiase can wrestle, and Lawler is too old, and no one will care about him as not Grand Masta Sexay.

that sounds like an amazing angle. I think, even the brian christopher part, but instead how about...

all the same except Flair comes in to make a reference to how older stars can still kick butt, just a cameo, nothing major, and instead of it being Brian Lawler coming out it could be Reese coming in and pushing king off the top later on, Flair again can come out later, ifthe Young stable turns face, and endorse them even manage them.

Lots wrong with that scenario

but Rhodes jr dibiase jr vs the snrs is an amazing idea
