HOLLYWOOD NAME JOINS WWE CREATIVE TEAM
by Mike Johnson @ 3:51 PM on 7/28/2008
In what has to be seen as a surprising addition, actor Freddie Prinze Jr. started with World Wrestling Entertainment as a member of the creative team at today's Raw/Main Event taping in Washington, DC. Prinze, a big WWE fan, was at a number of events in recent months, including Wrestlemania weekend in Orlando, Florida and had been a "celebrity" blogger on the WWE Fan Nation online service.
All they need is Velma...JINKIES!
I bet he'll be like Russo and book himself into crazy shit.

Ffs, why does vince have to hire these fuckwits? WWE is good enough as it is. Fuck vince.

He'll get away with it too, thanks to those meddling kids (that WWE are catering their product to).
By the way...

Uh....
It was a joke. Right?
Right?
About as big of a joke as Hulk Hogan's divorce.
Edit: This made no sense.

Ahh, there's no link. So i don't believe it now.
It's true, unfortunately. It was an elite-only update on PWInsider.

Well he is actually knowledgeable about pro wrestling.
Not saying he will actually improve ratings and shit, but it can't be worse than who they have now.

lol wow what?

There's no reason to be upset about this yet. I'd rather an actual fan be put on the creative team than somebody who used to write for Nickelodeon or whatever the fuck.

Well aslong as he's a fan then he might actually have some idea of how to write a show, but the shows have been flowing fine as they're.

Maybe he can talk Sarah Michelle Gellar to making a run for the womens title under the "Buffy" moniker. :shifty:

I am going to try and talk Sarah Michelle Gellar's mouth into making a run for my penis for the blowjob title, oddly enough, also under the "Buffy" moniker.

She is not that attactive, but hey, you wont have to look at her until after, so thats a plus.

She's more attractive than So Cal Val. That much I'm sure we can agree on.

I won't argee to that.
This is still something I would not have expected though. Freddie Prince Jr on the WWE payroll.
Interesting.

Since "Scooby Snacks" were a fairly obvious drug metaphor, this is fairly appropriate.
I can't wait for the Road Dogg to redebut now...

....A celebrity on the WWE creative team? How did this happen?
Vince got into your stash.

I dont think Vince needed anything to decide this.
Thats not to say Shadows stash did not help.

LOL, how bizarre. Doesn't the guy have like, a career, or something? I mean, sure, he's not exactly DeNiro, but he's a name you hear about the place. I'm sure there's some crappy movie out there that needs him to get made.
I'd expect to see him sign a WWE Films contract, too. Perhaps he'll even show up on WWE programming. Which show will he write for? I would at least give an internal chuckle if Vickie Guerrero rebounded from Edge with Freddie Prinze, Jr.

It's not like celebrities haven't booked wrestling before...
Jason Hervey of the Wonder Years, anyone?

I'm going to blame him for this
Raw MIKE GOD DAMN MOTHERFUCKING ADAMLE AS THE GM!!!!!
Wow, Freddie. Booted from the A-List, skipping that TV dive and going straight for the bottom of the barrel, huh? Luck to ya with that.
I'm not going to bash this too much yet, since we don't know what he'll bring to the table. Maybe he's some storytelling genius who will revitalize the WWE with his amazing, intricate plotlines and character development.
Like in "She's All That." That was pretty good, right?

He's not a reality TV star, so no, he hasn't hit the bottom.
Yet.
