Been playing it recently. I'm not that far in, and still not entirely used to the way the game runs now, but it's fun enough, and I haven't even cracked the multiplayer.

I do, although I've only got halfway through, and havn't even picked it up in a while. Too many good games coming out at once. Starting to hate that, as I can never finish anything.

Those are problem I wish I could afford.

I just got a steal on a couple of used games, so I kind of feel you there. Plus, now that my friends are into Rock Band...I mean, I haven't finished GTA yet...

They released DLC for it yesterday and it's free.
They are also adding more at the end of the month I do believe.

Yeah, the next update which should come out at the end of August has bikes in it as well :)

I have it. Hated it. The Graphics were nice, but I preferred the menu system opposed to free roam.

Too bad I've had to DL the DLC three times now and it's not an isolated problem. Especially since, you know, it's required to play online.

Some things definitely would improve the game though. Some are basic, some are not.
GPS/Waypoint system. It's such a no brainer I can't even begin to think of why they'd leave it out. It's a free roamer, and this is practically genre-standard. It should be included in any open environment game.
Restart option. I mean, I don't mind driving back to the start of a race sometimes. But you know, I've only failed 3-4 events so far, and the problem is that any of those events I fail I tend to re-fail. After the third drive back to the starting line, I just want to scream, "Enough, already!" GTA had this down in GTA IV. Of course, you can't stick your car in a cab, but the other points. Optional Crash Nav would be great, too. In fact, if you threw in the old Crash Nav, you could screw the rest.
CRASH MODE!!!!!! Motherfuckers. It doesn't even need to be an integrated part of the game, but that's what kept me coming back to Burnout.
The "Repair" bit when you get a new car is lame, too. It's cute the first couple of times, then it gets borrrrrring.
Also, this isn't so much what's wrong with this game, as how much I miss pursuit mode. Marked Man is kinda similar. Just not the same.

All of those are exact reasons why I hate the game :(

I am not a big fan of the open world system.
Races piss me off in this game. I hold 1st for pretty much the whole race, then at the very end, some small shrubbery or post which is so small that you cant even see, stops me dead in my tracks, because it apparently is held in place by the powers of god, unlike all the other objects in the game.

yeah I think Races are what made me stop playing

Those racing problems are an issue in other burnouts, too.

My favorite, and I'm not sure how common this is, is the invisible car. Twice now, I've been cruising along towards the finish line on a straightaway (You know the Naval Yard?), and I'll smack into something. A car. Except I know it wasn't there a second ago because I had perfect visibility.

Once I get all my stuff set up I may try playing it again. I basically just played it to laugh out loud at the crashes...which is a perfectly good reason to play it if I do say so.

I've probably already spent an hour or two just fucking around the city. Not even exploring or anything.

Out of curiosity, how many roads have you folks ruled? I'm up to fifteen, but I only started in on Showtime today.
