View Full Version : Ted DiBiase is the fucking man...

In an interview with Simon Rothstein from The Sun, Ted DiBiase looked back at a conversation he had with Randy Orton explaining his situation with WWE. "I told Randy Orton to his face: ‘Randy, you are a much more natural athlete than John (Cena), but you know why John is the number one guy and you’re not?

"It’s because the bottom line is that Vince (McMahon) wants to have the peace of mind that if he is going to invest all this money in this guy, he doesn’t want to have a phone call in the middle of the night that his flag-bearer has torn up a hotel room or done something else stupid and got arrested.'"

I don't see the joke. It's a very true point. Nothing funny about it.

Can't say I disagree either.

I also find Randy Orton's failure as a human being to be amusing.

Here's why this makes sense to me.

For the Million $ Man gimmick, the money was actually Vince's. Vince trusted Ted enough to not be blowing it left and right on bullshit. And Ted made sure he could be trusted.

If you can't trust a guy to act like a professional, why invest money in him? And the idea that Ted pretty much pwned him to his face makes it even better.

it would have been funnier if ted dibiase jr was the one who was telling orton this.

I really hope Cena gets arrested right now.

Orton should shit in Cena's bag.

That would totally disprove DiBiase's theory.

Also, on a side note, saw DiBiase today.

Spoke with him briefly, he seemed kinda uninterested in anything going on anywhere. He's definitely raking in the money off the whole religious related appearances deal.

Now waitaminute are we on about Daddy DiBiase?

For a minute I thought we were on about Jr. Which was why it was so awesome coz he's a WWE newbie compared to Orton.

He is definitely the man, but not so much for stating something so blatantly obvious.

What money? That makes about as much sense as saying that they trusted Hacksaw Jim Duggan with the 2x4 not to hit random objects and do damage to property outside of arenas and such.

Vince gave Ted loads of cash to spend when he went out drink and such so he could keep the kayfabe

Yeah just read all about Vinces money in DiBiases book. Vince paid for Ted to have limos everywhere, gave him wads of 100s to just have on him, to live the gimmick and keep kayfabe like Destor said.

Ahhh, I never knew that. Sorry, Vastardikai.

Heh, then by right, Vince should've paid for Val Venis to have real porn stars around him all the time... to keep the kayfabe. ;)

I assumed this was about Junior (as WWE seem to refer to him simply as Ted DiBiase) either way it's very true. Sounds like some advice Orton should take into consideration.

Plus there is the fact that Orton does not have the same charisma that Cena has. Atheletic ability is secondary to the it factor in entertainment.

Are we on about Snr or Jr? - I think snr reading the above posts tho.

Either way both own. Best heel ever (along with best laugh), along with... well, let's see! But he owns right now.

How ironic he says that, and Vince probably just had that midnight phone call saying his top heel is out for another 3 months

Granted it was an accident, but still pretty funny.

Ted is right on the money, Cena is the best business man they have who's surname does not contain McMahon and/or Levesque
