Battlefield 3

So I loved BF2, and my team were top of ESL for 3 months in 2142 so ofc I love that....

I know alot of Americans / Canadians played BF2, so it begs the question...

When it comes, will you be buying it? - There's not really been much info, but if what has been said is true, it'll be modern combat again... YAY!

I love battlefield style games. I own battlefield 2 and 2142, but have never played online much. I mostly just download assloads of single-player maps, and have fun doing whatever I want.

Battlefield 2 is so awesome tho, dunno how they can improve outside of minor details.

I am pretty sick of the Battlefield series by now, tbh. They really don't get much different with each one.. BF2 was really the last one to make a huge jump, in that you actually ranked up and crap. BF 2142 sucked.. BF: BC looked like the same thing but with destructible environments..

Eh.. so, I don't really care much for this series anymore. I guess it is good if you like realistic shooters, but CoD4 was a lot more polished feeling. BF seems kind of clunky to me after playing that.

Ofc, I was talking about on PC btw, fuck consoles. Though I do want BC on console, not if it comes to PC which it wont anyway.

That's the beauty thought with BF games imo. They feel different. Now I play COD4 a lot, I just can't jump back to bf2 and own. 2142 is different as i was always more pr0 as the saying goes at that game and it hasn't left me as much as it does in bf2.

Id buy it if the problems from last game have been fixed. Got pretty boring when every infantry battle turned into a game of "he who prones first, wins". Also the prone bouncing around the map got pretty old.

They really need to make infantry combat as good as the vehicle combat, seems infantry combat was badly flawed and it was never really fixed properly.
