Planet Earth, a documentary from the BBC, it's a 'must see' in high-def

Blade Runner I def. want to pick up.

I read on this one forum that Reign of Fire was supposed to be the best but it didn't look as good as I thought it would. Watched live free or die hard (my dad's choice) and it was pretty decent.

What's up with some shows almost looking like, the best way I can describe it, as a documentary or one of those old BBC shows where some look fucking amazing and like movies with more definition? Is it just the difference between those who used hi def cameras and those that were taken from an older print?

Transformers hits blu ray I think at the beginning of next month. If you can wait a little id pick that one up. If you cant then just get the HD.
