Who will walk out the Champion when it's all said and done? Considering no one else is added to the match.

This is a weird situation for both titles.

I think CM Punk should retain, but I can see someone else leaving with it, but this would be a great time to really put him over strong

On the other side of things, I actually think HHH should retain, but I can see Hardy/MVP getting it, but none of them are ‘ready’ Jeff would have been if it wasn’t for the 60 day thing that stopped him in his tracks.

This really highlights the lack of main eventers on Smackdown and the over abundance of them on Raw

Apparently it doesn't work that way...

With there being two of these matches, I can't help but feel one of them has to have a new champ at the end of it, to make the concept look decent. And with HHH having held his belt longer, and the fact that losing the title in a match where he isn't pinned is the kind of thing he'd do, I can see a new WWE champ, while CM Punk retains.

Don't quite think they're gonna put the belt on MVP or Jeff just yet though, so I don't know. Come to think of it, the four challengers in that match aren't really full-blown main eventers yet at all, which is kinda cool that they're pushing some new talent. Especially The Brian Kendrick

I want want WANT it to be Kane, but right now I thinking the odds are:

Batista

I think Punk will retain one. And Hardy/MVP or TripleH/MVP or any combination thereof will score a pinfall at the exact same time at the very end. Making them have to have a match at the next PPV for the title.

That's actually an interesting idea... isn't Cyber Sunday the PPV after? Make the fans vote who should get the shot

I don['t like how some guys are going to go into the record books as champ even though they'll only hold the belt for literally 3 minutes.

What do you people not get?

They will not be considered champion unless they're the last one to score a pinfall.

Umm, Big Show, Mr. Kennedy, Undertaker and Edge? They just are not being used. And Khali is a main eventer according to the WWE. Just saying they have enough superstars on Smackdown! is all.

People are retarded. Know matter how many times you state this fact, someone will keep stating the previous statement.

CM Punk is the logical choice to walk out World Heavyweight Champion. His reign still needs to get a backbone, and there hasn't been a compelling enough reason to take the title off him in a match that will make him look like a bitch. But, just to go through the process of elimination:

JBL should not be World Heavyweight Champion. Not only has he lost to CM Punk twice, but he's broken down and looks to be in horrible shape. They really should have CM Punk beat JBL with some sort of retirement stipulation again, and have JBL go back to commentary. RAW in Chicago would have been the perfect place, but oh well.

John Cena has never been the World Heavyweight Champion. To be honest, this is a chance to sort of start afresh with Cena. Don't put the WHC on him until he's had a good build to it, and the fans have accepted him again, or he has a new heel direction.

Batista winning the World Heavyweight Title is actually the most likely of the challenger outcomes, in my opinion. Since showing up on RAW, Batista has been made to look like the equal to CM Punk, at the very least. They haven't fully settled their score yet, and Batista walking out a four-time WHC would be a way to revisit that. I just don't think it's the time for Batista. Hopefully the WWE doesn't, either.

Kane winning the World Heavyweight Title would be sort of cool. It'd make Kane the first man to be WWE, ECW and World Heavyweight Champion, something that could really go forward in establishing Kane's crediblity. I can't see the WWE prematurely ending the title reign of CM Punk for Kane, however. Plus, The Big Red Machine is all geared up for a feud with Rey Mysterio. I can't see the WWE having a Kane vs. Rey Mysterio World Heavyweight Title match.

So it pretty much comes down to CM Punk as the best option for post-Unforgiven World Heavyweight Champion.

Batista's big win over Cena at SS tells me he's taking the gold at Unforgiven.

I can actually see that, now that you mention it.

Then Punk chases Batista, ends up beating Batista and finally has a "legit" reign.

Spoiler: Cena wins :(

If he does, I quit on wrestling again.

First, someone please vote for Cena so if WWE checks this site they won't think it'll be a surprise for him to win.

Seriously though, I believe this is a great match for CM Punk to slip out of and if it doesn't happen on Smackdown, a double pin situation could happen here. I think it will make Punk look great to have beaten the top 5 guys. And if he can hold this title till survivor series, or even longer if he makes a heel turn with the belt, I think it'd be for the best, that means he can become a constant fixture in the main event scene on Raw. He should be in main event matches even after he loses the title preferably to Jericho.
