Probably been done before but I don't care. What is your favorite type of match? I gotta say any type of Royal Rumble/Battle Royal does it for me. While the outcome can be predictable at times it does leave a little bit up to mystery with so many participants.

The regular 1 on 1 kind.

The regular 1 on 1 kind.

Ditto. Also the old ECW three way dance matches.

Nothing really better than a good one on one match.

Second to that for me would be the Double Jeopardy Match. I know it was only done like twice in ECW, but I still think it was a brilliant concept and could be really great in the "big leagues" if booked correctly.

Gimmick matches, I would say TLC is usually a pretty good show. Can't really think of a TLC match that left me disappointed.

I should say that 1 on 1 matches can always be entertaining if the formula and the participants are legit. I was thinking more along the lines of a gimmick type match.

Fatal four way is probably one of the best if done properly. Battle royals are pretty close too.

Anything involving a Ladder is good.

The OLD Hell in a Cell. The new one is just way too big and the space between it and the ring is too small. Looks too cartoony.

I don't get why a TLC match is so much better than a standard ladder match. There is no rule that says you have to use the tables or chairs, and since it is anything goes there is really nothing besides fucking up the acronym to prohibit someone from using the ring bell or a trashcan.

Traditional matches are the best. I like the bull rope match, if only because we rarely get them. Then again, I hate the bull rope match because when we do get them they feature JBL.

I also enjoyed the Lion's Den match. That was pretty cool. I don't think it would work now though.

I'm kinda surprised nobody has said Judy Bagwell on-a-pole match yet.

its like a tournament-style match with four guys. for example, it would be Triple H vs. Cena & Batista vs. Randy Orton in the same ring at the same time. The two winnners of those matches would fight each other immediately and the winner of that won the match outright.

No rules as far as attacking people who aren't your opponent, which is what I thought made it an interesting match.

What happens when one person wins his match first? Does he get to rest or can he help beat up people in the match going on? Can he score a pinfall over someone in the match going on?

Definitely just a regular 1 on 1.

For gimmicks, Ladder.

He can't score any pinfalls until the other "match" has finished out, but he's free to rest or help beat down one or both of the other 2 guys.

I remember it was Jerry Lynn vs. Justin Credible / Sandman vs. Steve Corino, and Lynn got eliminated early on. Credible and Corino teamed up and eliminated Sandman, then I believe Corino won his first ECW Championship.
