I would say Versus is more of an action movie.

Zombi is Dawn of the Dead
Zombi 2, which is a fake sequel to Romero's Dawn of the Dead from Italy, is known in America as Zombie.
Not to sound like a nerd.

28 Days Later.
Shaun of the Dead.
Dawn of the Dead (the remake, I actually haven't watched the original one yet)

The deaf amish guy from Diary of the Dead is the greatest character in anything ever.

Destor

They are all awsome as long as you pretend Residnet Evil trilogy/House of the dead do not exist.

I love 28 days and weeks later. probably my favorite.

Excellent choices. I don't like most straight-up horror movies, but the 28 movies are fantastic. Very well-made.
