View Full Version : Dr.Dre's Son Found Dead

The entire Dubcnn staff would like to send our deepest condolences to Dr. Dre and his family in regard to the untimely passing of his 20-year-old son, Andre Young Jr., this past weekend. While details are still pending, Young Jr. was reportedly found dead in his Woodland Hills, CA home this past Saturday, according to the Los Angeles County coroner's office.

Andre Young Jr. was said to be out with friends Friday night and his mother later found him "unresponsive in bed" when she tried to wake him early Saturday morning. She immediately called paramedics, who later pronounced Young dead at the scene.

"Dr. Dre is mourning the loss of his son Andre Young Jr. Please respect his family's grief and privacy at this time," said a statement released by his spokeswoman.

An autopsy was conducted and the cause of death is still pending toxicology and other tests, which may take six weeks or more.

We're praying for Dre and his family during this tragic time, and we encourage the entire West Coast to do the same.

I know this is kinda bad for me to say, but I hope this doesn't postpone Detox that much more as I've heard it is almost done..

As Dre's heart wrenching performance of "Dre Day Over," a tribute to his "fallen son" came to its conclusion, a hydraulic lift pushed a platform into the air with a cross, with exploded in a flash of marijuana-green light, and there in the smoke was his son, who has not been seen for over 6 months, Andre Young Jr.

This shocking night comes fresh off the heels of "Detox," the hottest selling album in U.S. history, breaking all of the record books.

Dre only had one comment to make: "Chris Nolan ain't the only nigga who can use somebody's death to bring in the money. I'm the new Dark Knight, nigga."
