Also feel free to speculate as to what may have actually become of any of these things had they actually gone all the way through.

No, I just thought he was pretty funny in the role at the time. I would have at least like to have seen if they were actually going to but the Intercontinental title on him the night he died.

Any Kane heel turn so he would look credible and not like a jobber to the stars. Also, his one day title run.

Personally, I think that it got fucked up by Mordecai's matches being too competitive. He was basically playing a monster/dominant gimmick, and he needed to be booked strong. He was instead shown brawling with Hardcore Holly in the back, taking punches and selling them like he was "just another guy."
From that moment, it was hard to take Mordecai seriously as a physical treat. He was never the biggest guy, but after that, he just looked like a street corner zealot. The WWE then lost their patience with him, and had Rey Mysterio pin him and really just ended the character.

I'd like to have seen Paul London's break-up with Billy Kidman fleshed out more. The match these two had at No Mercy 2004 was fantastic, and the story of Kidman not wanting to do the Shooting Star Press, then using it as a weapon to deliberately hurt people was fantastic. I loved the notes Kidman played as a heel. He seemed really disturbed, and sympathetic in a sick sort of way.
London, ironically, really got injured during this program, and when he returned...nothing. A continued program between the two could have made them more than just lower-card cruiserweight guys, in my opinion.

Sean O'Haire could have been great in WWE. Moreso as a heel I think, but I did like his "I'm not telling you anything that you don't already know" line.

I don't know if that May 19th schtick would have gotten any better over time. Seemed like at train wreck from the beginning.

-WWE shouldn't have turned Guerrero, Angle, Lesnar, or Orton face as early as they did. Fans loved and appreciated their heel characters.
-Jericho's "world title victory" over HHH (i.e. the one that never officially happened) should have also been counted.
-Austin, not Jericho, should have fought HHH at Wrestlemania 18 in the main-event (and done the JOB).
-RVD should have won the world title a lot sooner.

Basically, anything they've ever tohught of doing with Kane I would like to see where it was originally planned to go.

I thought he was a face. That was after the whole Piper/Mr. America thing if I'm not mistaken. Didn't he turn face (or go away for a bit and come back as a face) after that? Then he told Dawn Marie to flash the crowd and TBK to streak through the arena.

I still think that WrestleMania X-8 should have featured Chris Jericho vs. Rob Van Dam (who won the 2002 Royal Rumble to earn this shot) and Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock & Triple H vs. Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash & Scott Hall. The nWo were still fairly new at the time, so putting them over the WWE's three top faces at the time would have been an incredible way to introduce them -- instead of the two singles matches. Yes, Rock/Hogan had a tremendous fan reaction, but heading into the match, I was less than thrilled. You could have done Rock/Hogan at Backlash, or something.
I also would have gone with Kurt Angle vs. Edge at WrestleMania X-8, in sort of a personal rivalry (like they had pretty much right after the real X-8), but also with America vs. Canada undertones (Angle did talk about how the Canadians won a gold medal for skiiing or something prior to his actual match with Kane). Edge would have gone over and been a huge face, in my opinion.

I'll [hopefully] remember to give you updates on both SD! and TNA this week. I missed ECW again though, so I won't report on it.

Nash was hurt at the time and couldn't wrestle.
Also, any booking that changed Rock vs. Hogan at WM X-8 is fucking insane.
Back on topic, Raven and the Flock in WCW. That was a great character and was really over at one point. All he needed was that big push into the main event, but that was pretty much impossible at the time. Shame that Raven never got a chance at the main event in the big time.
Christian's main event push in the WWE. He should've faced John Cena alone for the WWE Title back in the months before his departure, but instead he was forced to share the job with Chris Jericho. Still, he could always return and make a big splash.
RVD should've won the titles a long time ago; 2002 or 2003. Such a waste.
Mike Awesome, in general, should have been a bigger player in the business than he was.

There is NO WAY the WWE should have turned Lesnar and Orton face so soon after their initial World title victories.
In my opinion, this may have been the two BIGGEST mistakes that the WWE made in the last 8 years.
Way back in 1999, I think it was a mistake to partner Big Show up with Undertaker (and basically, make Big Show to be Taker's bitch). Up until that time, the WWE did an excellent job of building Big Show into a DOMINANT monster. The guy shit kicked Test in like 7 seconds (twice!), and also choke slammed Taker through the ring at one point.
The moment the WWE paired Big Show with Taker, Show's "allure" was gone. Unfortunately, he never recovered from that.
Kane becoming more human was also a mistake when looking back in retrospect (although I understand the WWE's motive for going this route).
Triple H, not Orton, should have been kicked out of Evolution. Basically - Triple H and Orton should have switched spots that year (i.e. having Batista beat Orton at Mania).
Shawn Michaels should have stayed heel after he fought Hogan at Summerslam 05'. The fans LOVED HBK's character.

A couple of WCW ones first:
Jericho-Goldberg should have led to a real match. Goldberg could go over no problem. But people would have paid alot of money to see Jericho get beaten at that point.
The nWo-Horseman parody should not have been green lighted.
The person who decided to turn Sting Heel should have been fired on the spot.
Repeat the above phrase and replace "turn Sting Heel" with "Give David Arquette the Title".
Now two MAJOR WWF ones:
They should have let Savage shoot on Honky Tonk Man and put the WWF Title on Ted DiBiase.
Hogan should have put Bret Hart over at the first King of the Ring PPV.

WWE
HHH and Batista's Long as Title Runs.
O'Haire they just dropped the ball
Stevie Night Heat...Steph this proves how stupid you really are.
Chirstian's push.
Hurricane vs The Rock this storyline was something everyone seemed to be ok with. It had a nice flavor to it.
Kane vs RVD I mean really they could've taken this somewhere.
Eric/Austin co-GM. I wuld've liked it to go on a bit longer, and have a bit more dept to it.
GTV - Great idea, never done right.
Crash and APA. Frankly I just wantted more.
WCW
NWO Black and Red (though NWO period) At first it was ok, but next thing we know everyone was on br then they jumpped back to bw. Then Eddie's running around with LWO...who did nothing...I swear they should've just renamed WCW, NWO by the time it ended, becuase everyone had been part of it it seemed.
Buff is the Stuff...Buff's heel turn. Really lost steem after week 3.
CROWBAR! Man so many people liked the guy and Daffany too.
David Flair's storylines.....I never wanted to see Ric Flair in his underwear....I'm scared for life.
Glacier...it was like he was off in his own little world while everything was happening around him.
ECW
Buh Buh vs Devon, I didn't like how it ended. I wanted Big Dick to be more involved.
I wish RVD wouldn't have got hurt.
Mikey's title run...it lacked something to me.
-The one storyline I still have no clue why it worked so well for so danm long with Taz vs Sabu. I guess, becuase I wanted it to happen, but really I can't understand why I didn't mind it going on for so long.

Oh yeah, Raven with The Flock was his best work in my opinion. I remember hoping so hard that he would successfully defend his United States title (it was U.S. and not Television, right?) against Goldberg that one night on Nitro, but of course that didn't pan out.
Also speaking of Raven, remember when he was banished from Raw after losing a match so he could only wrestle on Heat? Then he started talking about making Heat his own personal playground and eventually he was going to unveil a 'Masterpiece'? I really would have liked to have known where that was going, but I think he was released in the middle of it.

I remember that. I wanted to see how that would have panned out. Figures he got the boot. I would love to see him come back and be either a manager for someone or a color commentator. I know he's opening (or opened?) his own wrestling school but dammit I want him back on my TV.

Raven I remember made the Hardcore title scence very entertaining, also when Mick Foley/Edge were Hardcore Champions or something, I wish they would have gone somewhere with that, and brought it back.
