View Full Version : So Joey Mercury might be coming back to the WWE

According to him, anyway. He and Christian York will apparently be on the WWE roster by the end of the year. What does everyone think about this?

I'm personally happy about a potential Joey Mercury return, because I felt the man was the stronger half of MNM. He was a better talker (at the time), and the veteran in the ring. I think he really helped guide Johnny Nitro, and helped John Morrison develop into the gem he has become today.

I still want to see a John Morrison vs. Joey Mercury feud on ECW, which could be a way Morrison repays Mercury (by getting him over as a singles star). Have The Miz and Christian York feud and provide respective seconds in the feud.

They will probably repackage him in generic blue tights and call him "Bradley Stevenson" or something.

LOL Joe Fahrenheit.

Seriously, what's with the repackaging and generic names? The only exception is Eddie "Primo" Colon, and even that's generic for his ethnicity. That sounds like a "Jack" or "Bud" in our terms.

Poor Ryan Braddock. That is all I'm going to say.

Mercury is the goods. ECW is definitely the place for him, assuming that Morrison is there still.

Mercury was always a good competitor in my opinion.

I'd like to see him back. He has talent, there's no doubt about that. I wasn't a fan of the Mercury character (or MNM for that matter) but I always thought both of them were talented enough to make it after the team split.

That ladder shot he took to the nose was one of the sickest things i've ever seen.

I was actually kinda pissed that they'd watch a guy break his face off, then work with a broken face, and still find a reason to fire him. That never sat well with me. I would be very glad to see him back.

...as Joey Featherfoot.

only if he brings the rest of age of the fall with him.

I still maintain that a Joey Mercury vs. John Morrison feud with Mercury as the face would be fucking hot.

Mercury is a good worker, good on the mic, has a history with Morrison, they now share the same initials and seem to be named after icons of music, Mercury could be presented as the veteran who helped break Morrison into the business and learn so quickly, Mercury is an ECW Original.
