Well, I don't think he has any reason to worry. No doubt that MS hit the jackpot, but he was too out there to realize that FF13 was still going to be on PS3, the PS3 would still actually be the lead platform, the port may not be all it's cracked up to be (they haven't even got to working on the port yet and the decision to DO that came, like, the week before it happened), it may (and possibly will) still be on the PS3 first (doing exactly what I believe the announcement was in the first place: Just an advance announcement about it going to the 360 once the timed exclusive stuff would be over because SE is scared about the state of E3 and wanted to get that out of the way), FF Versus 13 will still be exclusive (and stay exclusive because Nomura loves the PS3 so much he could be SE's version of Hideo Kojima), and that the game is still exclusive in Japan (where most of the FF13 sales will come from as it's a JRPG).

That and there are widespread rumors that Kingdom Hearts 3 will be announced as a PS3 exclusive at the Tokyo Games Show (which would mean that Sony hit the jackpot from how big that franchise has become).

I beginning to realize that it was Kaz who fucked over the PS3. He was one hell of an engineer, but didn't think exclusive games would win a console war and was batshit crazy. Hence why GTA and FF13 are coming out multi-format these days because he wasn't interested in keeping them sweet, just piling as much power as he could inside a black shiny box.

Also Phil Harrison, he has nothing to do with the losing exclusives problem, he's just a tool. Look at this award he had comissoned for himself before leaving for, *snigger*, Atari:

2) I think Jack Trenton before said something about Kaz not being aggressive enough in competing. If a head of SCEA can say that about another head.... (I also wrote a blog on N4G about how Sony isn't being aggressive enough in taking enough fight to MS and Nintendo and they may want to start doing so, since they have the system muscle and money now to do something with attack ads and shit).
