Would he be succesful? I'd say yes, I mean the heavyweight division in boxing is a joke. a bunch of overweight idiots jabbing for 12 rounds with little movement. Yes Lesnar would be brilliant.

Thoughts and opinions more than welcome

No..

His striking is one of his weakest points.. He'd get knocked clean out by a true striker without being able to take him down..

I understand the point your making but you have to take Lesnar's speed in account- those fat slobs wont catch him easily

He has thrown one decent punch while standing as a pro fighter..

He would get slaughtered by a true pro boxers with years of training..

I would love to see decent heavyweight boxing again. So tired of this fairy tickling contest they call boxing these days. Lesnar would be a breath of fresh air

Was vladimir the one with the doctor's degree or the little brother? if it is the younger sibling then head on over to youtube and look for the fight between him and Sanders. He is a bum

David Haye would kill him, so would both of the Klitschko's and probably just about any professional heavyweight worth his salt or any high-level amateur

Only the older Klitschko- the younger one is a joke!

I know the division is a shadow of its former self, but regardless he's been in and around the upper-tier of it for the last 8 years, he's a three time world champion, including the current IBF/WBO titles and he also won super heavyweight gold in Atlanta...What makes you think Brock Lesnar would beat him?

I'd imagine he'd get smashed but who knows.

You would have to say he would get washed out really, but if he hit you flush once, you just don't know.

If he had 5 fights, I think he would be doing amazing to win 3.

Apparently he is gonna be at the o2 all day next Tuesday taking pictures and signing whatever.

Haye, not Lesnar.

I think you should go down with a huge Lennox poster for him to sign, Rob

And get a picture.

I might do that now. Just need to find a poster.

If you put Brock Lesner on a football field would he be an NFL star?

Lesnar's mass is a big issue anyway. And the old 'well if he got a good solid clean undefended hit in' argument is tiresome, because such an event is so rare even between two boxers the chances of a musclehead wrestler/MMA guy not known for his striking being able to find and capitalise on such an opening is...Well nigh on impossible my dear.

The question was would he be a sucess, not a star. His records at the Viking try-outs were serious enough only his age kept him back from a run out. We'll never know what he would have done if he got on the field. Star? I seriously doubt it. A sucess? Possibly. Everything is relative. Being the heavyweight boxing champion isn't the qualification of being a sucess.

well then it wasnt just his age that kept him out then because the guy that beat him in his junior year of college was much older than him and ended up in the nfl a couple years b4 brock tried it out. Stephen Neil, he stayed in olympic/world style wrestling after college and has been a starter on New England's offensive line since their second superbowl win.

Exactly my point- the division is in such a state that this clown is the best they have. Truly tragic.
