When Friday Night SmackDown settles into its new home on MyNetwork TV on Oct. 3, all three World Champions will face off. WWE Champion Triple H, World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho and ECW Champion Matt Hardy will compete in a Triple Threat Match.

Don't miss this unprecedented night in sports-entertainment history as, for the first time ever on broadcast television, it will be a night of Champion vs. Champion encounters, including Superstars and Divas from Raw, ECW and SmackDown.

So I guess this is theme of the Smackdown! debut show in MyNetwork TV. Seems like all the matches are gonna be champion vs. champion.

I'll be watching :D

This is live as well, right?

BTW, to be honest, I'd prefer if they only had a few (at most) champion vs. champion matches, and focussed the rest on people who are actually a part of Smackdown.

DaVe, wouldn't that defeat the purpose for All-Star Kickoff night.

Stay with us here :p

Well, it seems like it could be good stuff. The Champion vs. Champion stuff could just be referring to that one match, but I wouldn't mind it if they did a few.

* Michelle McCool vs. Beth Phoenix
* Carlito & Primo Colon vs. Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase
* Santino Marella vs. Shelton Benjamin
* The Brian Kendrick vs. Paul London
* Jeff Hardy vs. Vladimir Kozlov
* Kane, Chavo Guerrero, Zack Ryder & Curt Hawkins vs. The Undertaker, Bam Neely, Rey Mysterio & Evan Bourne
* Triple H vs. Chris Jericho vs. Matt Hardy

There would be my card. Michelle McCool beats Beth Phoenix with some help from Candice Michelle. The Brian Kendrick goes over Paul London to prove he was the better half of their tag team. Shelton Benjamin defeats Santino Marella cleanly in their match. Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase get help from Manu to win their's. The Undertaker, Bam Neely, Rey Mysterio & Evan Bourne team up successfully to defeat Kane and La Familia when Taker pins Ryder, and then Big Show comes out to lay-out Taker. Jeff Hardy defeats Vladimir Kozlov to retain his #1 Contender's spot, and the main event sees things break down into chaos, and a tag team main event signed: Triple H & Shawn Michaels vs. Chris Jericho & Lance Cade vs. The Hardy Boyz, which Triple H & Shawn Michaels win when Triple H pins the exhausted Jeff Hardy.

Hahaha. Well, truth be told, as much as Michelle has been pissing me off, I think that the Divas Champion needs to go over the Women's Champion to make that belt look worth a crap. Or to ruin the credibility of both. Take your pick. :-\

I just read something that sounds like every single match on the show will be "Champion vs. Champion." I don't know how the WWE plans to pull that off, seeing as you can only get four literal champion vs. champion matches out of the show. I guess they'll have to use heresay and metaphorical championships to pit guys against each other.

Like "World's Strongest Champion" Mark Henry versus "Underdog Champion" Rey Mysterio. Or "Money in the Bank" champion CM Punk vs. "Money in the Bank champion" Edge.
