I will say with FULL confidence YAY to DDP. He is one of my favorite wrestlers of all time. The match between him and Goldberg at Halloween Havoc 98 was great. Kinda got the stiff when he came to the WWE. The original gimmick of "Make Me Famous" coulda went somewhere. Have him challenging the top star when he first came to the WWE to "prove himself". They shoulda built on it though have him challenge other legends there after he got done with taker (maybe give a gimmick like that to Nickky instead of calling him Dinggle). Instead they had him drop it and become a "self help guy". He never got the title when he was in TNA but had a good crowd fallowing over there. Like I said YAY to Page.

PS Just had to use the tribute video "Turn the Page".

I really never saw the allure of Page. Maybe it was because I was such a huge WWF fan and I hated my friends that liked WCW more. Admittedly, I missed most of his big moments, seeing as to how I only watched the first hour of Nitro in full before Raw came on. That in mind, I voted 'meh' as opposed to 'nay'.

god, I eathier hated his work or loved it. I loved him from 97-2000. Never really liked him after that. When he was doing the whole heel gimmick before 97, it was ok.

errr, YAY I guess

That seemed incredibly painful for you, LC. I'm here if you want to talk about it any further, bro.

Hopefully the next one will be Mo from Men on a Mission just to get a definite YAY out of your system for good measure.

Huge yay. He was awesome to watch from 1997 until about 2000.

I remember freaking out (not really) when Wolfpac gave him a shirt and asked him to join.

WWE fucked him up, but that's just the WWE way... unfortunately.

yea, and then he turned them down and a little later in the show Nash grabbed him and jacknifed his ass. Then he buried him in a Wolfpac shirt. Markout moment 176 from WCW 1996-1999

Super YAY.

Judging his career on anything post WCW sale should not count. Had he retired there he would have went down as one of the top 5 of WCW ever.

The guy was awesome in WCW, and the Diamond Cutter "coming from anywhere" made for same amazing finishes. WHen he countered the Jackhammer into it at Havoc, I marked out of my chair. Loved him from 96-early 99. Once he got stuck in the Jersey Triad his booking started downhill.

He was pretty much the most over upper midcarder in WCW for a very long time, had excellent matches with Macho Man, Bret Hart, Goldberg, Chris Benoit, Raven and others, and managed to stay constantly fresh.

Even when WCW was starting to gut itself in 1999, Page was entertaining me as part of the Jersey Triad with Bam Bam and Kanyon. One of the only good things that happened that year was the Jersey Triad holding the World Tag Titles.

Even in 2000 during the Russo bullshit, DDP was consistently a good performer and had several excellent matches with Jeff Jarrett.

So big yay here. I just wish he hadn't fucked himself in the ass with that stalker gimmick.

He had a pretty good moveset.

That back flip into the Diamond cutter he did with beniot was epic.

He also had so many damn looks in his years. More tights changes than anyone.

DDP is someone that really worked his ass off and made something of himself despite his average size and look. Did he benefit from being buddies with Bischoff? Sure he did. But he still went out and earned his spot on the card in the ring. As far as WCW main eventers go, he was carrying a lot of the in ring workload.

It's shame how the E treated him.

And if you've ever met him, he's a super nice guy.
