So I got a girl coming over to watch a film. She always brags about how nothing scares her.
What are some good horrors?
Her biggest fear is clowns apparently. Found out while watching IT

Ernest Scared Stupid scared the shit out of me when I was a little kid.
Seriously though, there's a movie called [Rec]. It's being remade in the US as a movie called Quarantine, but it's hella freaky (the spanish version is, at least).

I know what would scare her.
If you try and kill her.

The Ring (Japanese original)
Definitely "Ringu"
If you want to go really fucking scary watch "Mermaid in the Manhole" or "Doll Master."
"Battle Royale" is an awesome and very tense film as well.

I consider movies that are extremely unsettling to be scarier than anything else.

Blind Dead series
Hatchet
And yes, High Tension made me go "What in the Fuck did I just watch?" at the end.

Audition wasn't as much creepy to me. But J-Horror isn't very scary anyway...
Hellraiser always scared the beejesus out of me...

Can't go wrong with The Shining. Though if you're looking for a good date/horror flick, I'd go with An American Werewolf in London.
A few other recommendations:
Event Horizon
Jacob's Ladder
Alien (the first one, not the action-y sequels)
The Omen (the original, not the crappy remake)
The Serpent and the Rainbow
Salem's Lot
Shaggy

The Orphanage
People earlier were joking around with Ernest Scared Stupid....but that movie really scared the shit oiut of me when I was little. It was my little brothers favorite movie and I remember being scared to death of it. All these years later I still refuse to go back and watch it.

BDC/sugar butt sex tape... all 1 minute of it.
It's not 1 minute because BDC couldn't hold his load, rather the bed couldn't hold THEIR load. What they did to that bed was horrendous. It will give me nightmares for months.

Me too. A lot of people tend to think it's silly but that film scared the shit out of me on some stragne level. Incedibly disturbing and the scariest movie to come down the pike, for me, in ages.
I also love scary movies, and see a ton, but I'm rarely actually scared by anything. So that's saying something.
