There was reports that the Starrcade DVD was canceled indef but it only has been delayed. J.R. posted some great news that he was doing work for Starrcade not only for the 24/7 special but for the upcoming DVD.! I say it will likely be out early 09.

What 25 matches do you hope are listed on the 25th anniversary Starrcade 3 Disc set?

a lot of Starrcades of the 90's were terrible, give or take some great crusier matches. The 80's (minus 89, which was built around the gay Battlebowl) had some great angles going and great matches that spawned from them. You can probably make 2 disks out of 83-88.

According to PWInsider the release date has been set for 1/13/09.

Actually Starrcade 1989 was the Iron Man and Iron Team Tournament....Starrcades 91 and 92 were built around BattleBowl. But you are right...83 through 88 were the best!
