I guess they'll give anyone a TV show now a days. Horrible.

Frank Caliendo is kinda funny and his impersonations are very good. But I can't take an entire half hour of him just doing impersonations, it gets annoying after the first one.

Exactly. By the 3rd one, the impressions seem so exaggerated. To be fair, I've only seen one episode, but that was enough.

And he only has a couple of impressions that are actually quite good. His Madden and Shatner impressions are amazing. Most of them are basically impressions of other people's impressions of people (Doctor Phil) or are flat-out terrible (Charles Barkley). His stuff worked well on MadTV, because you were only getting maybe one or two of them in an hour. But a whole 30 minutes of him is too much.

they have oversaturated him so much to the point where he is very annoying.

If I ever see him, I will stab him in the neck with a pencil.

There really oughta be some kind of comedy regulation that states you actually have to at least sort of resemble the people you're impersonating if you're going to get a whole show about it. His impressions are usually good, but once they start dressing him up in costumes and it becomes immediately obvious that he doesn't look anything like whoever he's trying to be, the whole thing falls apart.

Stand-up comics just need to stop trying to do sitcoms and movies and anything else that's not stand-up. That's what actors are for.

You do of course realize some of the best shows ever are from Stand-Up Comics.

There is a reason networks give shows to them, based off of previous performances of different shows.

Most shows a network produced aren't for artistic purposes, but rather to make money.

Most stand up comedians turned sit-com stars are the goods. Frank TV however, is a huge FAIL.

A pencil in the neck. If you ever see him, after you stab him with your pencil, stab him again for me.
