Picked it up just a couple weeks ago, haven't really played it much. Been enjoying others I got around the same time. One of the Samurai Warriors 2 expansion-style thing. Not sure if I can say that I've finished it, as that sort of game doesn't really finish.

Needed more quests and a progression/perk system that doesn't end at lvl20. Got to 20 just doing like half of the main quest and sidequests and hardly any random shit at that point. The game world is just too huge and involving to not offer more in terms of meaningful activity. Still the best game I've played this year.

Although deadspace is a perfect 10. Best. Horror. Game. EVER. If RE5 can top this it is automatic 2009 game of the year.

Gets really boring after a while, but the first few days are incredibly fun. They should've added more variety, or split into several smaller campaigns with different kinds of objectives. Also, none of the character relationships go anywhere, and are pretty interchangeable.

Yeah, it's for PC too. DS hooked it up to his 46" TV, and we turned the lights off. That game scared the fucking piss out of me. It's not so much shit that pops out, but the atmosphere the game created.. Hearing shit clattering around in vents and wondering where it's gonna pop out, or if it's going to at all. Scared the hell out of me.

As for KH2, that game is one of my favorite games of all time. I pretty much love everything about it. I wasted hours and hours on the gummi stuff alone.

Final Fantasy I (Dawn of Souls ver) -8/10

Reaaaaaaaaaallllllly easy. You don'even have to try to level up, and you will still likely be higher than the reccomended level, by the time you reach the final boss. It's short, but it's hard to blame he game for that, considering its 20 years old. Not to mention all te added optional dungeons, and the fact that it's only half of the actual cartridge. So, not taking points off for that.

The story is pretty lame. It's a cookie cutter fantasy story, until the very end, where it gets convoluted enough to cause nosebleeds if you think about it too much.

But despite the simplistic nature of the game, it is still really fun, and frankly, addictive. It's a great rpg for those who arent really hardcore about grinding and leveling up.

Left 4 Dead. 8/10.

I hated it when I first played it. My XBox Live wasn't working and was only playing single-player. Throw this online and it's godly.

If there are new free campaigns, that will be a 10, easy. Only having 2 Vs. campaigns has hurt the score.

terrible, boring and easy. Most of the running and jumping you could do without pressing a directional control. I swear you could play 75% of this game with one hand. Made me realize that all games are is pushing the right button at the right time, only in most games its fun.

Fable 2 - 8/10

The whole children mechanic is limited, IMO. Great story with honestly moving scenarios and I will be replaying the game as an evil despot. On a deeply personal level, it may well seem that I indeed would like to be a family man at some point in my real life. It's telling that everytime someone joined my game the first thing I wanted to do was show them my house and family. Even in the 'after-story' portion of the game that I guess can go on forever I'm actually retiring the character from combat quest and settling down. I usually play games like this making decisions as I would realistically on my first playthrough, then play it giving in to my evil urges the second time.

Yakuza for PS2

7.5/10

Very cool cinematic presentation, but the story itself has been done before many times. While nowhere near as big as GTA maps (cuz it's not a GTA type game), the district the game takes place in is very vibrant and full of people and the associated sounds of a densely populated city in Asia. The soundtrack is like 99% straight out of Hong Kong cop movies. The voice acting is kinda weird because, while most of the actors aren't terrible, it's like their English lines were edited to reflect the pauses typical of Japanese speech and it comes off wonky.

The fighting is godawful at first. It's a good thing this game sucks you in because the targeting in the game is not just shitty, it's non-existant. Of course once you adjust, it gets much easier to fight, especially after a few key upgrades. Apparently in Japan a shotgun blast to face isn't enough to kill a gang member. The sheer number of side missions is awesome. Great way to flesh out the game and throw in a secret extra boss. :y: Hated having to drag the kid around buying her shit to build trust. Also hated the Virtua Cop bullshit in Chinatown too.

Working my way through the sequel rn.

Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex 7/10

Fun but not as good as Crash 1, 2 or Warped. Extra lives are everywhere. I finished the game with well over 50 lives. Sometimes levels have the camera at an unusual position and you can't tell how close you are to dangerous objects like walls of lasers. Over all it was a fun but short game. I think it's worth mentioning it's very similair to Crash Bandicoot: Warped, which is never a bad thing. TWoC is the last Crash game to resemble the originals, I hear, which is a shame.

Fable 2 (as a good guy) 8/10

I just finished Bionic Commando on the 360. 10/10

It was great. The music, graphics, controls were all very well done. Swinging is fun and it feels good when you get a flow of swings going. The game hasn't sold well and reviewers have called it average but I think they are missing out. The story was cool though I'd probably have liked it more if Gametrailers hadn't given away major points in the plot without warning when they reviewed it.
I'm hoping for a Bionic Commando 2 (Or 3, I guess, since this game is the sequel to the original.)
