I was thinking, based on Raw and based on the house show I attended for ECW/Smackdown, about how Khali could actually draw...
It's not a really a new idea, considering the idea has been tossed around here for about a year. However, they really need to turn the Great Khali face. I mean, he was insanely over in Augusta, GA working against Evan Bourne.
First, have him work 1 minute squashes against heels. Nothing complicated, just have his opponent move around hoping to do the hit and run routine and ultimately just bump for him. Brain Chop, Press Slam, Khali Bomb, pin. It will cover up the fact that he is very limited in the ring and get the crowd behind him because he's tearing through the bad guys. When he faces someone who would be more of a threat (who could actually carry him.), then give him longer matches.
Second, as evident from Raw, have the guy smile. The look on his face when he came down to meet the Great Charlie really says it all. He has a sense of humor. Instead of trying to make him the unstoppable monster, make him a good natured gentle giant. Play up the fact that he's done alot for his village.
Finally, as far as feuds go, keep them simple. I think Noid has even suggested giving him a little buddy. I wouldn't do that right off the bat. I'd put him alone against Team Priceless have them lay him out for whatever reason. The numbers game can outweigh the fact that he's so big. Or have a manipulating little buddy angle. Where he goes out of his way to protect a guy who looks overmatched. Little does he know, his "buddy" is actually taking advantage of his nature and ultimately looking to make himself look better.
And Noid, I think I just out Noid-posted you... :-\
