Kicks off this Thursday. First 2 days are media and special invite only. Saturday and Sunday open up to the public. (Why am I posting schedules?)
Anyhow. This pretty much starts up the fall video game season. The question I have is what is everybody looking for this time around. Either from "The Big Three" or from individual outfits?
I'll be watching for:
Sony: They need to do something big. E3 was ok for them, but they gotta win TGS. Already been confirmed they'll announce 11 titles.
Nintendo: My Wii is starting to collect dust. Does Miyamoto have something to make me break out a feather duster?
Ubisoft: Bring on Endwar. But I wanna know if SA: Conviction is still going, or if it's been axed.
Square Enix: I could care less about this company, but The Last Remnant has my attention. Need info on this.
That's all for now.

Bombshells usually aren't dropped at TGS, but we do get to know upcoming games much better with live demos and new trailers. Looking forward to FF13, 13-Versus, Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion, Street Fighter 4 console build, a new Capcom Vs., and perhaps some DC Universe Online action.

Why? People actually buy DS games. All you need a Wii for is Wii Sports/Play and VC.

Tekken 6 Bloodline Rebellion Preview. The bloodline doing the rebelling seems to be new comer Lars, who's actually a long lost Mishima! I need a PS3 now. My diehard Tekken fan of a buddy says the new item specific attacks and break-away walls/floors just doesn't make this a Tekken game. Me... I trust the company that recently gave me the best Soul Calibur in years. I'm sure everything will pan out. (http://ps3.ign.com/articles/916/916849p1.html)
PS2 is getting one last DBZ game. Yeah, kinda yawn. But check it out, unlike that insulting franchise rewind Burst Limit; this game, called Infinite World, continues the presentation of the Tenkaichi series with LOADS of characters and a story mode that'll take you from the Sayijin Saga all the way up to the end of GT! Gameplay seems to take liberties from Tenkaichi and Bodukai, and just out the first person energy blast pics. This is what Burst Limit should have been! Speaking of anime:

Many past anime games come close to feeling like you're playing the show. This Naruto game honestly nails it.

Tatsunoko vs. Capcom is going to the Wii.
Epic - fucking - Fail.
It may not come to the states, but if it does I'm gonna need to play it on Wii?!? Damn, I could see the silly waggle controls now...

That game looks sexy for a Wii title.

The visuals are in tune with what Wii can do. I wish 360 would get a port, though.

Castlevania for the consoles is in the works. Pretty hyped for that. I still got 100 yards to go on Curse of Darkness.
Gotta go and put a reserve down on Prince of Persia. That looks purty.
