View Full Version : So are we going to talk about Bound For Glory at all? *Spoilers, of course*

Sting is the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion. I don't really like it, but it does make sense given the feud TNA obviously wants to start with the old guys defending their place with politics and chicanery against the young wave of tomorrow.
Jay Lethal will be the next man to challenge Sheik Adbul Bashir (who is apparently getting mad over as a heel) for the X-Division Championship. Will the fourth time be the lucky charm for Lethal?
Most of the titles were retained. I like Taylor Wilde as Knockout Champion, so I'm glad they're going with the Wilde/Kong blow-off. Kong should so represent the new wave of TNA's talent against the men after she puts Taylor Wilde over. Beer Money, Inc. are still the TNA World Tag Team Champions. Could a default face turn against the oldies be in store for them? Maybe they could have Jacqueline turn on them? Yeah, it's classic Russo stuff, but if Jackie gets involved in this stuff (which she logically should), she'd make a great antagonist for Taylor Wilde and/or Awesome Kong.

The show was good and it opens the door from some interesting angles.

Who is being lined up to face Sting? I've fell out the TNA loop since the ridiculous Lethal/Dutt angle exploded. Shame, they had me watching it regularly.

I don't really know what's going on in TNA and the current dispositions of the main eventers but Sting as champion always brings slight prestige to the title I guess.

The card looked awesome, the matches sounded great. But Football > Wrestling (Any, WWF/WWE/TNA/WCW/ECW).
If I had cable, tuning in this Thursday would be a must.

Wow, I'm halfway there...
I swear I called Sting winning the title.
Now, Jarrett is gonna regain it...

Jeff Jarrett is Sting's next challenger.
So hold on let me get this straight, people think TNA is lining up for an angle with the old gaurd holding down the new wave of lalent...
If so WTF is Jarrett doing challenging? That so ass backwards its not even funny.
Im not a TNA basher, and sadly I cant really watch it here but if im reading that right well fuck me why not just pop on a dying days of WCW vid.
Having read the spoilers for this week's impact...
It seems they are continuing JJ v Angle and putting Styles inline as Number 1 Contender.

Well, Jeff Jarrett has come back with a lot of sympathy, and has been playing a more humble "father of TNA" role. He cares about the company, not his own ego, and is all for the young ones coming in and taking over. He'd actually make great opposition for Sting, who is playing a character that has a similar journey to Jarrett's, but has chosen the selfish route instead of altruistic one.
One thing I would like about that match, is that the face/heel dynamic is interesting, but also that I really don't care who holds the belt out of those two, because they are both good performers that are way past their prime. Jarrett could win the title and then drop it to either Kevin Nash, Kurt Angle or Booker T to set up Joe taking it back.

Angle should be moving on to feud with Foley, while keeping the heat with Jarrett, letting it build over time, and allowing them to come back to another Jarrett/Angle match. Hopefully Angle would be refreshed enough for another TNA World Heavyweight Title run at that time, and could go over Jarrett.
AJ Styles, right now, should probably be continuing his stuff with Booker T and Christian Cage. TNA are keeping one angle going longer than they should, and killing off another too early.

So they are just kicking Joe out of the main event? He lost once.

I wish WWE would do this some times.
Contra code overrides match stipulations. Joe will be calling Batista soon.

Joe is probably that really dick Player Two that loses all his lives in the Jungle and then starts leeching your men and by the end of Base 1 you are down to four lives and you make him promise not to take any more until you get to Alien's Lair and you are at least halfway through, but you know he is gonna get bored and sneak one in at Snow Field (even though he is definitely gonna get blasted by one of those guys that pop up and shoot those red things). I hate Joe.
Joe is totally like that.

Once again im not really up on TNA storylines but AJ sounds a much better choice to take on Sting than Jarrett. But if hes first up he probably wont be the focal point sadly.
Father of TNA or not if your doing a new wave vs. Old Bastards feud having another old bastard come in and do the young guns fighting isnt the way to go. Surely it would be better too have Jarrett fall by the wayside and someone young (Joe, AJ) come through and take the belt.
While were on the subject of Styles I know a lot regard him as a spot moneky but man hes entertaining, I dont get how TNA keep dropping the ball with him. I really feel he is due a nice semi long Title reign. I think he really should be one of the faces of TNA.
