This rules just for the fact it has his first IC title win on it.

Also on an unrelated both, Edge and myself share the same birthdate :y:

Wow I like. It's got some things I didn't think they even put on there, like the Jerrett vs Edge match. I'm so getting this.

I don't usually buy/watch these compilations as I prefer watching the promos and build up to the matches rather than the matches themselves and from what I saw of the Undertaker's set it was mostly just the matches.

Having said that, this one seems pretty good. There's a lot of variety in there compared to say Kane's DVD.

I'd buy it for the Hardy/Edge Street Fight on RAW alone. That thing is hard to find and so awesome.

Well, Destor if I wanted to watch that tiny video then I would. I kinda meant a DVD quality version of it. I have it on my computer but it isn't the same.

I guess that is a better accolade. There are lots of KotRs, but only one man has ever gotten Kurt to shave his head.

At King of the Ring no less. ;)

Really out of his two matches with Kurt @ KotR that one was better.

I dunno, he's too lanky to ever really be on top. No way a guy like Taker would ever job to him.

That match wasn't at KotR. It was at Judgment Day 2002.

It does seem like a fucking awesome set. My only complaints with it are that it doesn't feature his King of the Ring win, or some of the stuff he did as a tag team with Rey Mysterio, which if I remember correctly, was pretty fucking hot. And maybe I read over it too quickly, but it doesn't have the first Money in the Bank Ladder Match, either. Make it a four disc set and include all that.

It should be pointed out that the tryout and house show matches that have never been seen before will feature commentary from Matt Striker and Edge. Matt fucking Striker is gold, baby.

I'm sort of hoping that we get an Edge face turn in the future. He was a brilliant face when he first broke away from Christian, but then his injury went and fucked things up, and they've never re-addressed the face thing since he failed run off his return. He's perfected his craft a lot more since then, so I think a face Edge could be really cool.

I could definitely see Edge as face when he finally returns from "hell"

Mr. Nerfect
10-24-2008, 02:32 AM
I think it would have really made sense, but part of me is thinking that a big part of the reason they are keeping Edge away from TV for as long as they are, is so that when he returns he can be presented as a whiny heel again, and we forget how awesome he was heading into, and during, Hell in a Cell.

Which is when?!?!

I miss him damnit.

No one has a concrete idea of when he will return, obviously, but I could see him returning after Cyber Sunday (or even at the PPV) to help The Undertaker against Big Show, claiming that Taker has earned his respect. Edge and The Undertaker would then lead charge against a team selected by Vickie Guerrero and Big Show. I guess Chavo Guerrero and Bam Neely are heading towards a break-up, but Edge, The Undertaker, The Great Khali, Kung Fu Naki and Christian (or swap out Kung Fu Naki and Christian for a face tag team) versus Big Show, Chavo Guerrero, Zack Ryder, Curt Hawkins and Bam Neely, for example.

That won't happen, though. What I'm thinking they might do, is hold off Edge's return for January. I'm not sure when Edge's DVD is coming out, but it's scheduled for next year isn't it? Or is it towards the end of 2008? Anyway, I expect him to return around the same time as his DVD is out to really boost sales of it. It's closer to the Royal Rumble, as well, which I expect him to have a prominent role in.
