Just got it, not the official beta but a leak which boots on all XBoxes (but doesn't connect to Live).

Avatars are not working but hitting the XBox button mid-game and jumping to another game without going to the Dashboard inbetween is pure awesomesauce.

Isn't it out in 2 weeks? Hard to see the hype for a beta for a new INTERFACE that's a couple weeks away.

It works better, and there are no avatars in the build so I didn't have to create one :)

Meh. I don't even get the hate for avatars, really, can I don't see the point of jumping the queue for a whole couple of weeks of an interface I barely use....
