TNA star Booker T has plans to picket a Houston sports bar called Vito’s Deck House because he believes they discriminated against the Christian faith.

On Sunday afternoon, Booker T and Marty Wright (a.k.a. WWE star "The Boogeyman") went to the sports bar to watch an NFL game. Wright, who was wearing the cross, was asked to take it off by the bartender, or leave. According to the bartender, it was a violation of the bar's dress code.

Booker got upset and asked to speak to the manager. The manager explained that it was a violation of the dress code. Booker asked where the dress code was posted at, and as it turns out, it wasn't posted anywhere. Booker refused to leave and told Wright not to leave.

Police were called and police officers told Booker and Wright to leave the premises. Booker said he saw two other patrons at the bar wearing crosses and they were not approached by management and told to leave. Although, the two patrons left the sports bar when they saw Booker and Wright being kicked out over Wright wearing the cross.

Booker has a protest scheduled and he hopes it gets as much publicity as possible to inform people about the sports bar suppressing people's freedom to express their belief in God.

Boogeyman is a Jesus Warrior, never would have thought. :shifty::lol:

...why the fuck would you tell Booker and Boogey(Woogie) that they couldn't wear crosses?...why tell them anything like that?

You know Russo, they'll probably tape it for Impact and turn it into an angle.

yea that was pretty dumb throwing booger out i wonder if the real reason was him being so ugly. i say that bar will have to have a huge pay out. ruso might not have a story line about this but i can see the wwe have a story for booger about this.

Dose this mean that WWE is gonna wish Boogey the best and two weeks later he's gonna become TNA world champ?

Maybe they asked them to leave because Booker was using a crappy accent? :shifty:

Next week (after halloween), Boogen gets released. Not only is it after his gimmick is most effective, but now he's associating with TNA talent. We all know how much Vince LOVES that!

Bartender: Sir, I'm going to have to ask you to remove that cross.
Booker T: You didn't say that... TELL ME you did not just say that!
Bartender: Yes I did, and your friend back there is entirely unsanitary.
Boogen, mouth full of worms: Whaphhh?

Theres a big difference between hanging out in a bar with what I assume is a long term friend, and getting caught in the audience of the opposition show on TV. Even Kevin Nash was allowed backstage at mania, and the liability insurance on his quads cant have been cheap. Though between him and trips they probably got good discount for insuring both at once.

That's what I'd do. Go up to two gigantic black men at a bar and tell them that I don't like their jewelery.

I'm not 100% sure it was a anit-Chirstian thing. I'd have to see this cross neckless. I know there's a few places that wont allow you to wear un-tradition crosses. They see Blinged out crosses as a insult to God. Yep I'm recalling why I left...

But still they didn't have the dress code posed so they're screwed anyway.

It's not entirely unreasonable for a bar to imply that it's patrons to wear faith neutral attire. We are at war with Muslim Extremeists right now.

But if it isn't in writing, you can't do shit. The fact Book and Boog didn't start beating reason into the guy that told them this is a testiment (npi) to them I reckon.

Why give a shit what people wear as jewelry. And if the code wasn't posted anywhere, more power to them.
