It's still on thursday but I guess they figure everybody knows its taped on tuesday or something. That's kinda lame, they should've made it a live show.

i think Shane will be the SD GM
why would Vince go thru the trouble of kicking his daughter's ass at No Mercy to then just put her back in power?
I say Shane

That'd be cool, because it'd be more of a surprise. Here's a good idea... make it Jesse Ventura.

sean o haire and mark jindrak should be a tag team. even during some bad wcw ideas, they made a pretty cool tag team. face it, as solo guys, they're not that interesting. and WWE has done nothing to help either guy out. it's like they got lost going to the Velocity taping...every week. just thoughts.

Well they were going to put her back into power even sooner, but they ended up liking how Heyman was doing. WWE doesn't care about angles from over a month ago anyway.

WWE never acknowledges apst events. They'd ignore the whole feud between Vince and Stephanie and simply put her back in power. WWE always seems to change and/or ignore history.
Although I'd like to see Shane as GM for a change.

That would be one of the funniest moments in WWE history. Right next to Pete Rose in the WWE Hall of Fame.

A few guys who were missing from action:
1. Randy Orton (I think)
2. Mick Foley
3. The Undertaker

Edge came out actually. One of the guys Austin brought out.

randy orton had a toothache. edge showed up. mick foley didn't show up. and no word on why, no undertaker...
no real jobbers, either...where the hell did paul london go? viscosity?
another thought. it's sad that "hardcore holly" picks on smaller talent. if it's true...especially considering he was a little bitch guy, before the roids...

I marked out for HHH being traded to Smackdown, seeing as I only get Raw that was the best thing that could have happened. Also, Tajiri going to Raw

Hmmm I thinky they might stay away from the Mcmahon's as general managers for a while. I wonder if triple H will be the new GM of Smackdown. I guess that wouldn't make sense. Hopefull somone new will be brought in as GM.

Very funny Sushi.
Anyway, I'll give them this: good moves or not, they've definitely done a really neat job of maintaining interest in this. I don't think I've ever seen a RAW thread so hyped up with people so into it emotionally, even if some of those emotions were disgust.
The high-octane ending is something that's been missing from WWE programming for a while, and from here, they could either swerve us into remerging the brands back together through a true brand war, or they can just continue with two brands. They might even try to do the Invasion correctly this time with ECW....
Either way, the upcoming weeks hold lots of promise. I'm personally psyched, and since the WWE has been pretty darn good lately, I'm optimistic.

The pieces seem to be falling into place for WWE vs. WCW vs. ECW. Raw seems to be becoming more and more like Nitro. I don't know. Does anybody think there is any chance of that bringing back the WCW brand name? I really don't think it would be too bad of an idea really. It's better than "WWE Raw" and "WWE SmackDown."
Hopefully since they broke up WGTT it means that they will actually both get decent singles pushes. Oh, and I'm kinda worried for Cena. I really think he should go to RAW. For one, the censors wouldn't be as bad about making him puss out on RAW, and with HHH on SD now, eventually Cena will have to beat Trips to be a top guy, and that is always a gamble. I think they should switch Cena and Orton, and switch the tag champs. That way, all the original WWE titles are together on one show.

It would be great if they inventially made one of the shows a WCW show. Im tired of the same damn stuff every week. They need something new to kick it up.
Sensei Of Mattitude
03-23-2004, 09:53 AM
I think Orton and Cena should be switched too for the reason that
The Intercontinetal Title (meaning all 7 continents on earth... or another term of World) should be with the WWE Title (which has no affiliation with the World, just the WWE)
and the United States Title should be with the World Heavyweight Championship. The US Title is centrally based in the US while the World Title means the World.
I am a crazy?

I catch what you are saying and I would have to agree with you on that. I think maybe you should put all the WCW titles back on the same show. Then that would also help WWE ease its way to have one of its shows suddenly become WCW. That would all work out.

I dont know when the show starts but Im pretty sure that if there are results on the net they will be posted on here as soon as there done. I also expect actually since Vince mentioned on WWE.com that there would be a GM named tonight that they would say something about it on the website.

<font color=goldenrod>LOL, I just downloaded the brawl at the end of the show and I noticed something. Just as the show was going off the air I saw the Big Show throwing HHH out of the ring. I'm just curious as to why, seeing as both are Smackdown talents.</font>

Since I posted in the live event one, Ill put a few thoughts in the official thread. Being there live was awesome, they really do a great job to put on these events. But since I was too high up, I really couldnt tell who all came out during the big mess at the end. I did recognize a few such as Ultimo Dragon being out there, which shocked me. I wonder now if the Jericho/Christian feud is over, since they have yet to cross paths yet on tv since WM.
But then ending ruled, especially live. I was yelling the whole time, then chanting for Taker with a bunch of others around me to just clear the ring, but never happened. But after it did go off the air, the area started to clear out and the big names were just out there. Kane and Big Show did the thing where they grabbed each others necks to chokeslam each other at the same time, but Austin broke it up with the Stunner. HHH attempted to run off, but some RAW stars threw him back in. Benoit then locked HHH in the crossface, which he tapped out. That led to a big "You Tapped Out" chant. Austin and Benoit celebrated with beer afterwards.
There were 2 more off camera notes. The commercial after Jindrak got picked, he came out and made a little speech saying how great he is. And the commercial right before the World Title match, Rhyno was with the Bashams and started to put down Detroit, since being the heel, was getting too many pops, which led to a "Rhyno sucks" chant during the match.
