Going to go see this tomorrow. I am fairly excited about it. Has anyone seen it yet?

I haven't had a chance to see it yet. It's only playing at a couple of places in Manhattan. I will watch it within the next week or two.

I wanna see it, but I'm pretty sure it won't touch anywhere in Indiana.

Honestly, I'd wait 'til it comes out on DVD.

The first hour was fucking splendid film, so hilarious and perfectly executed... as for the second? well, see for yourself. I think calling it "tedious" and "obscurely abstract with a strong desire for definition" would be putting it mildly. He wrote himself into the damn thing again. It had such promise. My feelings upon leaving the theatre: frustration, bewilderment, disappointment... I was actually speechless.

If you are going to go see this in theatres, and you smoke, I highly recommend burning a spliff prior. It might ease the ending. Hell, the ending might even appear "enlightening".

ACTUALLY fuck it... you know what? it was kind of refreshing. I don't think I've ever seen a movie like it. Go see it in theatres, just for the full existential experience.

Whoo hoo, it is playing over here now so I don't have to drive to/park in NYC to see it. I am going to see it on Tuesday. :) My brother said it was incredible. I think we agree like 98% of the time so I can't wait to see it even more now whoooooooo

OK I think these two posts, in that order, are my exact feelings on the movie. You nailed what I thought completely.

First hour was fucking incredible. I was like holy shit I love this movie so much right now. Then it stopped whatever it was doing and turned into something else and got real slow and I started to dislike the characters. When I left the theater I was like I dunno.

But now when I think about it, it was kind of amazing. I want to see it again. I feel real confused. It was a trip for sure.

That's very similar to what Roger Ebert said. Between you, Rhiannon and your brother, I'm thinking I may check this out. I'm lucky, as my cinema usually gets pretty much everything with an English title.
