View Full Version : Sting is the best Heel on TV right now

I am loving Heel Sting in TNA.
Last week when he was all slicked up with no paint, I thought it was a great look. He should keep that up, to further look like a jerk turning his back on the fans.
TNA is looking better these days, just a few tweaks they would be on fire.
As much as TNA pretty much sucks, the aforementioned slicked up, no paint Sting look was/is a great/refreshing look for him
You are off your medication.

If by best you mean half assing it when he's on TV, still mucks it up with fans, still slaps hands, never shows his ass...then yeah he's the best
The best heel should be back soon

Whatever to some of you.
Real Estate Steve version of Sting FTW.
I dont think Kurt fits in with them though. Just weird.
But yeah, MEM is the shit.
My problem is their opposition.
AJ is a great fit, since he was been with TNA since day one. Christian is a good fit because he has been held down in his career, so it fits. Samoa Joe is the current TNA face and what not. But the rest, Meh.
Jay lethal should not be involved with these big names. Not Should eric Young, give me a break. Creed is too new to be thought of on this level.
The problem here is that TNA lacks any other big faces that fit this angle. Maybe Matt Morgan and Abyss. Beer Money is amazing, but they need to stay on their own, and out of this angle. But rolling out jobbers to take on legends is kind of retarded.

I'd really like to see it with the two sides being
MEM:
Sting
Kurt Angle
Kevin Nash
Booker T
Scott Steiner
TNA:
AJ Styles
Samoa Joe
Christian Cage

I *suppose* if MEM needs abit more bulk, then you could add in Team 3D...but I don't think it really suits...

Hmmm speaking of that, I wonder what Petey Williams will be doing. Seeing that he is the Mini Scott Stiener.

I'm surprised that Russo hasn't tried to go with this...
Sting: You wanted to see, Vince?
Russo: Yes I did. I want to turn you heel.
Sting: Again? You know how many times you've tried it.
Russo: Yeah, a dozen times, but...
Sting: And you know how many times it failed.
Russo: Yeah, a dozen times, but...
Sting: So, why do you want to try it again?
Russo: Because, I had this Great idea. I want to repackage you as "Real Estate Steve," and...
They're reading my mind!
Yeah, I said some time last week that they should keep Sting out of the paint. Have him even drop the Sting name and attire. As I put it "Do a Jericho" and drop everything that the fans like him for.

The argument that they need more high level faces to do this, proves why they are doing this, this kind of feud can elevate guys to a new level.

I'm surprised that at a time when Chris Jericho is on such a fucking roll as a heel, a poster named Jeritron is praising Sting as the best heel on television. I personally like the heel turn, but I wouldn't call it the best. And it certainly doesn't seem to be working, as the fans are cheering Main Event Mafia pretty strongly.
Kurt Angle is great for the group. I'm thinking that they will have the group get bigger and more powerful, with a lot of the guys joining, but being sort of "subordinates" to the generals running things (Angle, Booker T, Sting, Kevin Nash and Scott Steiner). For example, it'd make sense for Petey Williams and Rhaka Khan to start working for MEM, because of their connection to Steiner. Angle could induct Sheik Abdul Bashir, who is doing pretty well as a heel right now, due to their prior relationship in the WWE. I'm also expecting Matt Morgan to turn on Abyss and join as the true enforcer for the group. Team 3D taking the TNA World Tag Team Titles from Beer Money with heel turn assist from Jacqueline would be a great way to sucker the amazing James Storm and Robert Roode into the angle. I can also see Alex Shelley turning on Chris Sabin and defecting back to Kevin Nash's side.
Jay Lethal makes perfect sense for the TNA Originals. He should drop the Black Machismo stuff, and point out that Samoa Joe trained him. Curry Man dropping that shtick and going back to Christopher Daniels would be fantastic. As I mentioned, a face turn for Beer Money would be pretty fun, even if they only make de facto faces. Roode should still hate Booker T.

Sting's a subtle heel, over a week ago when the M.E.M. was beating down M.O.M., Sting came in the ring and helped Styles up. He wasn't attacking him, it wasn't until Styles spitting in Sting's face that Sting actually attacked.

Because like I explained, he's not a full on heel, he's more of a tweener. All his character wants is the young guys to respect the veterans.
Plus even when he "turned" he was still getting big pops, so instead of trying to force the fans to hate him, they are just going to make him the pseudo heel.

If he's the MEM's champion he shouldn't be the tweener, he should be the most hated guy in the group. Otherwise anytime he faces somebody he's apt to get a mixed reaction. Hell, it even looks stupid for him to go out there and high-five people. I could see him doing it as part of the group if someone else were the champion and he grudgingly aligned himself with them. Fans don't wanna see a tweener brought down as bad as they did with Hogan or Flair or HHH.

What does being champion have to do with him being a tweener?
Nothing is wrong with him being a tweener while still associating himself with the rest of the M.E.M.
They are booking Sting smart, they know fans won't boo him so why try to book him as such?
They all feel they aren't being shown respect, but they carry different agendas.
Nash just wants a payday.
Angle just wants to kill people.
Booker thinks he is the greatest wrestler in the company.
Steiner is their muscle that hates everyone.
Sting just wants the young guys to show the vets some respect.
The only reason why Sting is hanging around them is because they are the same people Sting wants the young guys to respect.
It's one of those storylines where it's a shade of grey. You can understand what Sting is saying and where he is coming from, yet he hangs around complete assholes like Angle and Booker T. On the other hand, guys like Joe and Styles have disrespected the veterans, yet they are tired of being held down.
When it comes down to it, Sting is the only one from the M.E.M. who actually has good intentions, he WANTS the young guys to take the ball and run with it, but he feels that they aren't grateful.

I'm just saying that with the MOM chasing the belt, the crowd should be more apt to get behind the faces a bit more, which they can't do if the holder of the belt is a tweener. I like Sting's character, I just think one of the more solidly heel guys should be champ right now so there is a better payoff when a face wins the title.

There’s the other side of that though, he could feud with someone who does eventually shows him respect, then based on that, could full on turn one way or the other.
Sting is going to be like Cena, they divide fans, to the point that even if you did turn them, they would still get a mixed reaction

no, I actually agreed Koos. That wasn't a sarcastic post by me. I think it' smart to keep Sting as a tweener bcause the fans will never accept Sting as a full heel

I love when Sting told AJ to respect Angle, when Angle was beating AJ down for the last 5 months, leaving him bloody at almost every turn
