Powderfinger played here a couple of weeks ago. Really good show. Not my cup of tea music wise but the lads from Brissy know how to entertain. :y:

The Living End played here last week too, they ruled 92736 kinds of awesome.

Uh, a lot of people in this thread are naming bands who are not even around no more. If you read the title of the thread that TripleA posted, he said "Current bands". Not classic bands who don't even exist. Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Beatles, and Queen shouldn't even count in this thread. :n: I do love all of those bands though. :y:

Current favorite bands, not favorite current bands. The bands I listed are my current top ten.

BTW, Queen are still recording.

:?: did they ressurect freddie or something?

Nope, but sadly, they didn't let that stop them. Their newest recording was for the 46664 project.

I can't blame them. Roger can't get his discs a record deal in the US, and Brian sells about as well as Hogan's new porn venture, "XXX-mania..." Queen still move discs, even if it's really only Queen in name alone, since they're down to Brian, Roger, and Spike.
