Pfft. Arrival was a waste of time and points. I expected the boys at BioWare to put out something on par or even better than Shadow Broker. What a huge letdown.

Kotaku said the new DLC takes about 1-2 hours to beat and would have been shorter if it wasn't for some filler fights.

I love how you die in the first mission. I laughed my ass off. I was kind of hoping that was it for the game. That would have been big balls.

I was kind of disapointed when I didn't get to name the Normandy 2 something. I would have called it the SS Surprise Cockfags.

Nope, how so and where? Friend and I have played through this a combined total of like 10 times probably and have never had that happen.

It has happened to me two or three times. Once when on that smuggler colony, once while trying to recruit the krogan.

Anyone else find this game disappointingly short? Glad I only paid $20 for it.

No, because I have played it probably 5 times or more. Replayability is there to no end. Using different party members, getting different results. Before my friend's modded box bit the dust, we had a paragon playthrough, renegade, and neutral saved on it for ME1 and ME2. One where we saved everyone, and one where almost everyone died.

Hell, I just love hearing the different dialogue if you have different party members at certain points in the game.

Yeah, I plan on replaying it again. I just remember the first one being longer. But that could have been because I didn't figure out how to use the power wheel on the first one till I started a second play through, which I never finished. I am going to do another play through, being a jackass the entire way through from 1 to two. I want the long service things.

Also the boss fight against Saren Arterius seemed so much more epic than the boss fight against giant terminator. Like really, this is it? Shoot the glowing parts? That is kind of why I hated the combat in ME2 but loved the dialog.

Mass Effect > Dragon Age

DA was really repetitive IMO and I got bored. Never played through all of it cause everything was just really time consuming. Didn't even give DA2 a shot because of it.

Jennifer Hale is an amazing voice actor. Never bothered with a male Shepard because her voice acting is better then the guy who does male Shepard.

Having just completed DA2, I can recommend you play DA2. It is very similar to ME2, extremely dumbed down. I absolutely hate RPG's, but how they stupify DA2 and ME2 I absolutely love. Just like the Mass Effect series, DA2 is very different than DA1, so I would start with 2.
