I HATED Test when he first came to the WWF/E. I used to change the channel when he was on. Horribly boring.
Liked his partnership with Stacey until it got ruined when Stiener came along.
Actually liked him in ECW. Knox and Test as a tag team could have developed nicely.
Overall- meh. His first couple of years drove me nuts.

He had a great look and was a pretty solid wrestler, but he didn't have much charisma and wasn't great at working a crowd.
Overall though, I give him a yay.

I'd give him a yay for his time from like 99-02
Big nay to him after that though. Basically once he cut his hair, even though that has nothing to do with his decline in quality. It just coincidentally happened at that same time.
I'm also patiently waiting for "Test4Champ" to sign in and break his mouse clicking yay.

Test could have been huge. Great look, great worker, but he needed a mouth piece to guide him. Kinda like how Lesnar started out with Heyman.... Now I'm not saying Test could have been as big as Lesnar, but I think an epic IC title run would have worked out for him.

I always liked Test. A good worker for his size, and he had a level of charisma about him. I remember marking out like a little bitch when Test squashed William Regal to win the European Championship, and Jerry Lawler was making out to be concerned for Regal's health because it was such a drive-through.
Test was much better as a face, and he's one of the biggest missed opportunities the WWE has ever had in regards to the Triple H/Stephanie McMahon stuff. Why they didn't pursue that is beyond me. Test was apparently very over at the time, and the fans probably would have eaten a story like that up.
I remember another turning point for Test was at...Summerslam 2002? It was a Summerslam where he was wrestling The Undertaker as part of The Un-Americans, and many thought he should have been put over and given some credibility. If I recall, he took a Tombstone and lost the match.
His short haired stuff, as Jeritron said, was very, very boring -- for the most part. His run in ECW was pretty cool. It seemed like he could have been heading towards an ECW Championship run. Unfortunately, Test is really into the roids, so I doubt a WWE return is likely.
A big "coulda been" in the WWE's pages, and a "yay" from me.

I was always a big fan. He could put on a damn good match for being a big man. He also had some charisma, not a lot, but enough to garner some good heat I thought. Despite some of his crappy gimmicks and angles, I always loved watching him wrestle.
I liked him as a face, especially his story with Stephanie. A follow-up to that angle would have been pure gold. That being said, I always thought he was better as a heel because he was just a total scumbag. He made you want to see him get his ass kicked.
I did like his run with Albert, partly because Albert looked better in the ring than he had in previous years, and partly because I fucking love Trish Stratus.
His run with the Un-Americans was good, but I agree with Noid in that he should have been put over at Summerslam.
Most of his short-haired stuff, as others have said, wasn't great. I liked Test/Steiner as a team, but I hated their feud if that makes sense. Steiner as a face just doesn't do it for me, but that's a discussion for another time.
I loved Test's run in ECW; he was God's Gift to ECW (at least he could/should have been). I just thought he was playing a great monster heel, and his pairing with Knox could have been awesome. An ECW title run before it became the silver medal would have been great for Test. I think it would have brought both him and the title credibility.
Loads of missed/blown opportunities on both sides, but Test still gets a big "yay" from me.
Anyone else want a DVD to commemorate his greatness? No? Oh well, I guess it's just me then.

 Yea I've been debating who should be next but I give Test a Meh. He was always one of those guys that was one step away from being a main eventer just never was.

Yay from me. The stephanie angle should have made him, and he was getting mad pops as a face...seriously.
His feud with shane and the mean street posse was entertaining, and they could have gone on and built on the Stephanie/Triple H thing. Missed opportunity really.
