The TNA mobile text update service issued word that Kurt Angle's "mystery guest is a former World champion who was a former tag team champion with Mick Foley."

The only names that fit that description would be Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Terry Funk, Steve Austin, Kane and Mikey Whipwreck. Foley also held the WCW Tag Team belts with Kevin Sullivan, but Sullivan never held a World championship.

It's obviously not Kane and I think it's safe to say Johnson amd Austin won't be there, so that leaves Funk or Mikey.

From PWInsider.

If they actually pulled it off and got Rock it would scare WWE shitless.

And I hope it isn't Funk because he needs assistance to even brush his teeth.

You know, Funk had apparently retired a few months ago.

Knowing TNA's track record, I think it's safe to say it's going to be Terry Funk.

It'll be Terry Funk, methinks. I think it's safe to say that The Rock would probably be the most exciting of them all, though. I was actually thinking the other night how he's good friends with both Jeff Jarrett and Mick Foley, so he's probably been approached about it.

And for the record: No, I'm not saying it's going to happen -- it'll be Funk, or the phrase "World Champion" will apply to someone like Al Snow, who will come in.

Heh...watch TNA use this as cheap publicity to say, "Kurt Angle's guest is electrifying!!" or something dumb like that just to get some fans hopes up.

Well, I think the PPV is on this week isn't it? Not much room to promote it. Therefore, it's more likely to be the let-down of Terry Funk.
