Sweet perhaps a Booker T heel turn and a proper RVD ME push. To bad about Edge he's next to be eating some dirt.

Kurt should have traded A-Train for a couple of the Doink midgets.

WWE.com has learned that former WWE Champion Kurt Angle has accepted the job as SmackDown! General Manager.

In replacing Paul Heyman, Kurt Angle’s first order of business was to mold the SmackDown! roster to his liking. In an attempt to do so, Angle has completed two trades with RAW General Manager Eric Bischoff.

The first trade sends F.B.I. member Chuck Palumbo and A-Train to RAW for the combination of the sexy Miss Jackie and Rico.

The second trade is a blockbuster three-for-one deal. RAW’s Eric Bischoff has agreed to send the Dudley Boyz and Booker T to SmackDown! in exchange for former World Heavyweight Champion Triple H. This announcement comes straight off the heels of Triple H being chosen by SmackDown! in the draft lottery just 24 hours prior.

Austin had a pretty good run before his neck finally gave out. Too bad, Kurt was barely in his prime. I mean I know he will probably wrestle a bit in the future, but with all these reports of his neck being shot, they will probably decrease that as time passes. :(

Well, no Palumbo means Natural Born Thrillers is probably out of question... but RAW just got screwed, LOL. HHH AND A-Train over? Wow. SD! just shored up its tag division a LOT, which is cool. Plus its mid-card has gotten really strong.

Hopefully, this is just a temporary role for Angle. He'll be GM for a couple of months while he gets some much needed rest and then comes back to wrestle later. Anyway, as long as he's healthy and on TV, I'm ecstatic.

A-Train's back on the same show as Benoit.

They're setting up a de-push. Benoit always ends up feuding with A-Train after a de-push.

The whole point of Triple H feuding with Edge is to put Edge over, and Triple H doesn't seem to get that. Looks like Edge will be losing his push in a month's time...

Do explain your reasoning. :wtf:

Triple H is going to build up Edge as a mian event player in a big feud that leads to their big PPV match... Where Triple H wins in the worst way possible, effectivel dimisnishing fan interest significantly and halting his push. The same thing happened with RVD and Booker T. Thank the lord they're on Smackdown! now.

Triple H just doesn't get it.

WWE needs to make up their mind... And I bet Triple H whined and complained to get sent back to RAW. Why they would announce him going to SmackDown!, then, the next night, have him sent back, reeks of total "BUAHHHHHHHHHHHH WAHHHHHHH DADDY WAHHHHHHHHH" type crap.

Well, after splitting up damn near every tag team, looks like most of them are on SmackDown! now. And Booker going makes sense, since RVD did, and they just dropped their gold to Flair and Batista.

But my question is, who the fuc</>k are Flair and Batista gonna compete with over them? No La Resistance. No Cade and Jindrak. No Dudleyz. No Booker and RVD. Wow. I guess they should just fight each other, and the winner gets both belts or something.

I can't believe that WGTT is still broken up after the trade :(

I don't think they ever really planned on keeping HHH on smackdown, they just did that so people would take this joke of a lottery thing seriously.

I'm have a really really really bad feeling that they are going to take A-Train and Mark Henry and pull a Test/Steiner. Make them a team, then make them feud, then just keep going until everybody stops watching.

Triple H vs. Edge (or if the opponent is going to be buried, then HHH vs. Steven Richards)

Chuck Palumbo vs. Garrison Cade

Batista vs. A-Train

Dudley Boyz (face) vs. The Bashams

Booker T (heel) vs. Bradshaw

RVD (heel) vs. Billy Kidman

The trades look good to me. I'm not going to judge why Triple H got traded till I see Smackdown, I'm guessing that there is an angle to be played off.

I personally like that all the tag teams are on one show. I would've rathered that they unified the two tag team titles but this pretty obviously means that Flair and Batista are retiring the belts.

RVD is the man as a heel.

He's all cocky and shit. I remember this stretcher match he had with Sabu in ECW. They were tag team partners before Rob turned on Sabu and Bill Alfonso. During the match RVD would take a bow after a hitting Sabu with a few moves. And instead of shaking Sabu's hand, he just gave him the finger right in his face the cockiest smile ever.

I don't get it. Smackdown seems to be lacking a big time heel. Their two best heels would've been Angle and Trips. Angle as GM...well, if this is due to his injuries then that can't be helped and at least he'll still be on TV. But then why trade Triple H???

You almost HAVE to turn Booker or RVD (or both) or else Smackdown's next PPV could be headlined by Eddie vs Big Show (please, no) or Eddie getting fed ti the Undertaker (LORD, no).

PureHatred

Booker T (heel) vs. Bradshaw

That's dumb on so many levels.

VonErich Lives
03-24-2004, 03:00 AM
Well, seems like their pushing Bradshaw as a heel, as stupid as it may sound to all of us, that have seen nothing more then a clothesline for 10years, he does get a ton of face time outside the WWE, putting him in a few matches for belts, could help PPV buy rates.

Booker T, I wouldn't be shocked to seem him turn Heel and Feud w/ Eddie G. I mean, Trips Gone, Angle Gone, Who's going to feud for the WWE Title? I'll assume Bradshaw, Booker T and... hmm... hopefully no the big slow again...

Also, and I really don't mean this to sound racist, but moving Devon and Booker T over gives SD some black guys and allows Teddy Long to continue his "keeping the brother down" gimmick. My assumption is Booker T doesn't always have the greatest mic skills, so I would see him and teddy, especially if Booker is to feud w/ Eddie G.

As for Raw, I think you'll see some new Tag teams form. I wouldn't be shocked to see Edge and Y2J or see Edge go after the IC title. A-train? maybe there going to turn him face and try giving him a small push against Batista... ok, maybe not.

As for HHH, maybe I missed something... but, WMXX, the "biggest PPV ever", didn't he TAP, to Benoit? or am I forgetting something? While Trips may not put people over as quickly as you like, your the same people who loved it when DX was running wild and not letting anyone get a push. I think it's more likely he turns face and feuds w/ Orton to put Orton over then he Feuds w/ Edge.

Although we hate those trades, I don't think they're THAT stupid. Trading Triple H for three guys means that Smackdown has got more people to add to their roster, and that can't hurt.

PS: Bye bye Edge, nice knowing you.

OK, listen carefully.

<FONT SIZE=LARGE>EVERYBODY: KISS MY ASS.</FONT>

First of all, stop wanking on about how Edge is being buried <I>before he even starts feuding with <b>ANYBODY.</b></I> I seem to remember you all being the same people running your mouths off before WMXX saying that Benoit was never going to win the title, and on the slim chance that he did, he'd beat Michaels or else HHH would lose in some half-assed way that would make him come across looking like he got screwed. And we all know what happened there, <B><I>DON'T WE?!?!</B></I>

Two, it's obvious why HHH would=Booker T and the Dudleyz in the trade: Bischoff would have the rest of Evolution <i>and</i> Michaels in his face demanding that HHH be brought back to Raw, so of course he'd give up three guys for him. The backstage reason for the trade is also obvious: they had more Raw guys they wanted to send to Smackdown than vice versa, so they 1) made Heyman one of the picks, only to have him quit, and 2) made an uneven trade.

Three, Raw is <i>not</i> losing it's tag titles. The belts being shifted to Flair and Batista proves that. If they had wanted to axe those titles, they'd simply have let them fall off into nothing when RVD was drafted. This now means tag pushes for the aforementioned teams like Venis/Storm, Hurricane/Rosey, and the returning Test/Steiner. Possibly create new teams as well, potentially Test/Rhyno, Cade/Palumbo, A-Train/Steiner (though I shudder to imagine that one,) even Edge/Jericho.

Four, you are all failing to acknowledge that we were handed one of the best Raws we've seen in a long time. They managed a deal of unpredictability, some great moments between Heyman and Bischoff, two great world title matches (ON ONE SHOW!), and most of all planted the seeds for a brand vs brand feud somewhere down the line.

BUT NOOOOOOO, we don't want to realize any of that, all we want to do is whine, bitch, and remain secure in the knowledge that we've got it right and that everything sucks before we ever see it. Well

Maybe the reason we all doubt HHH is cos of the amount of guys hes buried just to name a few , RVD, Booker T, Goldberg, Kane, foley, etc, do i have to do the whole list? And also the fact that hes always winning the world title back wow what a way to boost ratings, and now hes been traded back to raw i bet you he gets the title back soon enough maybe not straight away, but soon youll see him as champ atleast 1 more time this year guaranteed...

if booker turned heel he would obviously be feuding with RVD unless as a tag team they turn heel. I can see RVD mess up again and kick Booker pissing him off starting a rivalary....RVD as a heel wont work...like during invasion he was a heel but cheered more than the faces...RVD would really have to do something super Heelish.

I didn't think RAW was all that great. Most of the matches were either too short, or they just sucked (tag title match). The only match that delivered for me was HHH/Guerrero. The lottery was good for TV, but I wouldn't say the show was anything to write home about.

In terms of HHH, you cant just look at one JOB and say "HHH is the man, he put someone over". What will happen in the next couple of months is that HHH will get a clean win over Benoit. So that will make them even, and wont put Benoit above HHH, like he should be. After Benoit loses the title, he will be pushed down the card while Hunter will continue to be on top. This will then make Benoit look WORSE than HHH and thus negate any good that was done at Mania for Benoit. If this scenario doesn't play that'll be one thing, but I can virtually guarantee it will happen the way I laid it out. So Hunter isn't really doing the right thing for Benoit, he's doing the right thing for himself.

I'm confused. The Hunter trade made sense to me with Angle injured and Brock leaving. Smackdown seriously needed a main event heel and HHH/Guerrero and HHH/Cena feuds looked good to me.

Now....well I just don't know. Very intriguing none-the-less and Smackdown is certainly 'shaped' differently to Raw now.

Ok, lets go through the list.

RVD - I'm sorry, RVD does not scream WWE or Heavyweight World champ. In ECW where he made his name, wasn't he hardcore or tv or something? but never their top champ? He's funny and has great moves, but he's charecter doesn't seem like it would carry the belt well.

Booker T, his time will come again.

Goldberg, he got his push, got the title, got over, and then they needed something else to do w/ him, clearly the big pay day at WMXX would be him v. Brock, to bad it was both their last matches.

Kane - I'm sorry, I don't remember him burrying Kane...

Foley - ? this one I really don't get.

Here's the problem, if they push everyone that everyone wants to get pushed and hold the belt, the belt changes every month... that would suck. HHH carried the belt, hopefully we get a rematch Benoit v. HHH and HHH put Benoit over a 2nd time, and Benoit goes on the fued w/ someone.

If you'd watched ECW when RVD was making his name then you wouldn't question why people think he could carry the world belt. He was the backbone of that company whether he carried the "main" belt or not.

Back to topic...I just think that Triple H fits the gaping hole in SD. The show needed a big time heel, he fits the bill. A lot more so than Booker T or Bradshaw. Or to be more exact, Raw without Trips seems just fine. While SD's roster is still severely lacking.

Trades should continue to be made. Smackdown! is left with even less heels than beofre, what the hell is WWE thinking? Raw has Michaels, Triple H, Evolution, Kane & Christian. Smackdown! has Big Show, and I guess Booker T now. Kurt Angle better be a heel GM and feud with Eddie, that would be good, but for now they don't ahve top heels. Bradshaw just isn't the answer. The only thing that excites me about the roster shakeup is RVD on Smackdown!. Everything else is pretty much useless.

Kristanna Vola

VonErich Lives

I think you'll see Angle as a heel GM, somehow make up for the lack of a strong heel, in the same way a strong manager can help a wrestler w/ no mic skills.
